Lights Camera Action
Here at Lights Camera Action we train stunt animals. We are located in Kentucky near many will know race horse farms. We live on a large farm sent up to train the main animals we work with Horses, Dogs and Cats. Our head trainer/ boss Lucy’s family’s been training stunt animals as longs as anyone can say.
The way people rank. In charge is the boss and over all head trainer Lucy Bright. Next each department or type of animal has a head trainer. The head trainers are the most experienced trainer in that animal normally . Then there is trainers under the Head trainers assigned to animals. Then there are 2 animal make-up artists/ groomer and their two helpers. There are the Intern’s not yet training on their own they are getting the skills needed and they take care of the animals. In the horse world we will need stunt riders.
Next let’s talk about the animals around here. The animals are matched to trainers by personality and training style. The training types used positive methods and reinforcement based. First up are the horses, they live in large felids and have a large stable. They only do things they are comfortable with doing. The most notable member of the horses is Grizz this big golden bay has been in a number of larger movies. Next up are the Dogs, house in large indoor outdoor kennels sometimes they do go home with trainers at night. The most notable dog is True, a golden retriever. They have a large play yard with a pool. Now for cats, it’s a tricky task training such animals. They have a large building broke in to rooms for small groups and single cats. They have cat doors to outdoor play areas with things to climb and play with. A few of the cats sometimes go home with their trainers. Not because of his movie work but because of his love of his life Jinx is a will known member of the cats. He goes home with his trainer and lives in the office by day. The official greeter people aren’t hired innless they pass Jinx’s inspection.
