Anyway, Kasey had a fairly ordinary childhood. She was born the twenty fourth of July, in a small town called Coleford in England, to a couple with one other girl named Emily who was two years when her younger sister was born. But above being sisters they were also the best of friends even when they started going to kindergarten and school. They were inseparable - like twins, but they were not twins. Their bond was so strong everybody was surprised that two girls didn't fight over the clothes, and who stole whose dress and things like that. But what finally broke them apart was the new addition to the family, another girl who was named Amanda. Kasey loved her to death, and was too worried about her while Emily was just annoyed by a little girl bothering her when she was thirteen years old. thirteen years is a big age gap - and that difference of Amanda's care tore the bond between the two older sisters, with so many fights they could barely hold. It's not a terrible story, Kasey's, but since that moment her entire world changed. She was usually the sidekick, but it was what it was and nothing that anyone could do or say could ever modify that, but with an older sister to look up to it was easier to make friends. Everybody knew Kasey, not because of her own merits but because she would hung out with Emily Clarke, one of the most popular girls at school, and Kasey Clarke was her little sister and almost exact copy of her. For that, many boys chased after her, with hope that with getting to know the sister, they could get to the oldest one. However, since Emily wasn't around to help her, Kasey didn't find a way to let them in her life.

At first she didn't talk much about her older sister with her friends, but mostly about little Amanda, eleven years younger than her and at that moment, three years old. With fifteen, Kasey started to lose contact with most girls from other schools who were already getting drunk, smoking and those type of things. Kasey was always the small, innocent one who would hide in a closet so she wouldn't go to a party. It wasn't that she was shy, just incredibly insecure. With an older sister like Emily anyone would've felt self conscious. That, and Emily had first helped her little sister to socialize and make her first friends, since kindergarden up to fifth grade. Losing that so quickly made a great change in Kasey's life. But if her sister came back, or if there was someone there who supported her, a friend, anything, maybe she could be the outgoing, amusing girl she was many years ago - almost six, to be exact. Before changing she was fun and loving, and that part of her is still there, somewhere.
