I fell in love the way you fall asleep - slowly, then all at once...

That's how everyone wants to feel. They want to find someone who gives them that warm, fuzzy feeling inside, and that gets that same feeling about them. They want to find that one person who they would do anything for, no matter what, just to make sure they smile and are taken care of. They want to find someone that they will spend the rest of their lives with. But it's always a risk, every time you open your heart up to someone - you walk into it blind, without any sense of direction and your mind clouded over.

Lock up your love and throw away the key...

But that's the scary thing about love. You don't know when it will come into your life, or how, or why. You don't know if it will work out, or if everything will be okay. You don't know if the other person is there to love you, or if they're just going to toss you aside once they get bored with you, or when things get too tough. All you know is you have to trust them. You have to be willing to place your heart in their hands and trust that they won't mishandle it. And so, this is why you don't really think about love much - in fact, some of you don't even believe in it. Some of you are just too scared to fall in love, whether you'll admit it, or not. Others gave up on love because they've been hurt one too many times, or perhaps they aren't looking for love, but act like it when they're really just players. But some of you haven't given up on love - not completely. These few still have a little hope that love is out there, and some day it will all work out. But they still have their doubts, as well.

To the world, you may be just one person...but to one person, you may be the world...

Here's the thing. Some of you hate the idea of love. You want nothing to do with it, and would rather just be alone, at this point. But what if you found out that there is someone out there that actually loves you and cares about you with all their heart? Some would jump at the opportunity of finding love - others, however, aren't so keen on the idea. You think that it's just setting yourself up for heartbreak. You refuse, at first, but over time, will you possibly let your guard down and let them in?

It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all...

But finally you give in. You decided to give in and give love one more try, as you've finally come to the conclusion that it's better to try it out than to forever wonder, "What if?" So, you're here, with the one person who promises to love you and never leave you - will your relationship turn into everything you had hoped and dreamed for a few years ago? Or will it fall apart and prove to you that love is nothing but a lie? All you know is that you've started to develop feelings for someone, and you just want them to promise you that they'll be there.

-Have as many characters as you can handle (there are more than 4 slots, I'll add more as we get more people to join. Please try to keep genders even!). But if I see way more girls than boys, or vice versa, I will stop accepting girls/boys (whatever gender has more, at the time) until we get everything evened out, again. At the moment, I will be accepting boys and girls!
-I'd prefer if "things" didn't happen, but if they do, please use "fades to black" or "time skip."
-No cussing. Period (things like crap, freaking, etc., are okay. But we all know that CS rules prohibit cursing, due to the fact that there are children on this site).
-Be nice, don't exclude anyone, and if someone needs a recap, please give them one.
-No god-modding/powerplaying.
-No Mary Sues/Gary Stus.
-Don't date your own characters.
-Romance and drama are obviously big parts of this RP - but make sure they follow the CS rules, please c:

-Please be active if you join, let me know if you will be absent for some reason - if you're inactive for a week without notice, you'll have to be kicked out so that someone else may join. However, if, for some reason, you couldn't let me know and were absent for a while, I will let you back in.

Personality: "Well, uh. Meet me, and you'll find out pretty quick, aha." Luke is, at first, at bit shy and pretty awkward, socially. He's not much of a talker, as he's generally more of a listener - except for when he's vlogging, of course, but he's usually alone and pretty comfortable when he's doing that, so he is able to talk quite a bit more. When you get to know him, however, he is fun, silly, and pretty much always seems to be happy and in a good mood. Sometimes, he's still a bit awkward, and can be rather dorky, but usually, he's not as much so when he's comfortable around you. In addition, he also becomes quite a bit more talkative when he's comfortable around certain people. He may look a tad bit intimidating with his height and whatnot, but he's actually a very friendly, cuddly guy that just likes making people smile. He's extremely loyal, a well as protective of people he loves and cares about. He's clever and sometimes can be witty, but usually, he doesn't think he's that humorous.
History: "I was born in Sydney, Australia, and basically grew up there. Life there was pretty nice, I had a lot of friends, and everything just seemed to go well. Not that my life has been perfect, because really, who does have a completely perfect life? Anyway, I was bullied a bit in middle school, which wasn't exactly pleasant. When I was fourteen, I became a YouTuber - well, sort of? I would post things like vlogs and covers of songs on my channel. I never really expected to gain any popularity, so it took me by surprise when I started getting a pretty big fan base. One thing led to another, and, well, I basically got a record label. Now, I go on tours, record albums, things like that. My parents and I moved to Las Angeles, California, when I was almost sixteen, which is when I went on my first tour. And, well, yeah...since then, I've pretty much just been living life. It's pretty cool. And, well, yeah, here I am, now...so...that's pretty much it, I guess."
Likes: "Well, I like a lot of things, I guess - a few of those things would be penguins, the color blue, vlogging, listening to music, singing, playing guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding...things like that. Oh, yeah, writing new songs is also really fun - I love it."
Dislikes: "I definitely don't like bullies and liars. They annoy me beyond belief. I also hate when people mistreat my friends, family, and so on. If they want to mess with me, be my guest. But don' ever mess with my friends - that's not cool, and I won't tolerate it. I guess I'm not that big a fan of sushi, either."
Fears: "Well, I'm not too fond of spiders, losing people I love, or things that may seem a bit too dangerous - I understand taking risks, but not if it's something that's going to get you into an immense amount of trouble, or even cost someone their life."
Aspirations: "Well, as mentioned before, I post videos on YouTube - mostly covers of songs and vlogs. My biggest aspiration, by far, is to become a musician."
Traits: As stated before, Luke is a bit on the quiet and awkward side. But, once one gets to know him, he can just be goofy. He's also very interested and talented in music - that's basically his passion, and he's willing to work as hard as he has to, in order to follow his dream of some day making it as a famous musician. He doesn't just sing and play instruments, but he also writes music. Luke also loves animals and horrible puns. He can be considered a hazard to himself on occasion, as he's also a bit of a klutz from time to time. Oftentimes, it's said that he's notorious for losing things.

True, she's usually found sitting in a corner, alone, writing or reading. However, if you get to know her and befriend her, she's a whole other person. She's silly, hyper, and carefree. She doesn't seem like a super confident or independent soul, so when she shows these traits, people are oftentimes taken by surprise. While she is submissive, she definitely isn't dependent upon anyone - especially boys. She's very stubborn and strong-willed, and if she doesn't want to do something - honestly, she won't. She always finds a way around the situation, and lets people know that she will not be stepped on or taken advantage of. She can have quite the temper, and usually isn't afraid to show it. She can be very blunt, honest, and straightforward, and some people don't care too much for that. She doesn't really mind this, however. Finally, she tends to be a bit oblivious to things, if she's off in her imagination - and considering the fact that she's pretty creative, that isn't hard for her to do.
History: "I was born and raised in Manchester, England. Life there was just lovely, though I'll admit I was bullied a good deal...by pretty much everyone. Mostly because she did used to be quite shy, actually, and was an anxious child. You see, they thought she was a huge nerd and seemed weird. But as she grew older, she didn't want to let these kids defeat her - so, she decided to force herself how to learn to become confident, and, well, here she is, now. Anyway, she moved to Anaheim, California, when she turned 17, so she's only been in the United States for a little less than a year, at this point.
Likes: "I love reading, music, and writing more than most things, pretty much. They kind of consist of a big part of my life. I also like painting and dance - but, seeing that I have two left feet and can't paint to save my life, I haven't exactly continued trying to learn them. Lyndley is very comical, being one of the funniest people she knows. She enjoys hanging out with funny people, and people she can laugh with for a while.Lyndley likes to be calm, not for her, but for her horses. She loves them, and would change this one little piece of her personality, just for them though. She’s able to handle most situations with a natural, low-toned voice, and it’s kind of scary for some people that she meets. Lyndley likes to work for her own, and she won’t let anyone help her get it. She’s been known to never try to ask for help, but in the end, she always gets it if needed. She likes the feel of telling herself that she did it, all by herself.But her time with her pets gave her the trait of compassion. As she developed a love and connection with her dogs, she began to express that with other people, making her heart seem weak. “No big deal, I lived in a house with five other children, an abusive mother, and a missing father. Somehow I always used to be the victim of my mother’s attacks, and she always used to say that ‘I looked to much like my father to ever be pretty.’ Which ever so brought my confidence down lower and lower than ever. I began to take my sadness out on myself, often hurting myself in ways I don’t wanna think about anymore, the marks are still on my wrists till this day. Anyway, the last time she ever hit me was right when I ran out the door, with a backpack over my shoulder, that’s right I ran away. Some lady found me days later and took me to an orphanage, where we took a trip to a ranch, and that’s where I met my first dog. As I grew up, I found another family, who treated me like family. So I begged them to take me on more trips there, and as I kept going for the holidays and summers, I began feeling more and more compassionate for other animals, and that’s when I felt truly happy for the first time in my whole entire life.
