Silver Petal Farm

You have been accepted into Silver Petal Farm hopefuls riding program. All your necessities will be paid for and your horse will be given the best care. We ask you bring your riding equipment and your everyday living needs (clothes, toothbrush, ect.) Here we will train you in Eventing, as you will be showing in all three. Christopher F. Hodkins will be training you. You first event will be at the end of the month. We hope you have the heart and integrity to not only grow as a rider, but as a horseman/women. We hope to see you on June 1st.

Brooklyn Art, the girl who never grew out of the 'I love horses' phase. Brooklyn is one of the lucky few who's parents had money and who loved horses. A few people people she was born riding a horse. Riding is something that came natural to her. Like some kids are good at playing the piano or are good at soccer, well Brooklyn was good at riding. She is the only child born to an older couple who has been together for 20 years. Brooklyn was given anything she wanted as long as it was horse related. When she turned five Brooklyn was given her firs pony, a 15.2 conmmerra thoroughbred cross named Sapphire . Before she was six Sapphire and Brooklyn were taking over the jumper ring. When Brooklyn was ten she decided it was time for Sapphire to retire after twisting her ankle a third time. The shock of not being able to ride her beloved pony made Brooklyn shut down. For a whole month Brooklyn didn't want anything to do with another horse, but that was before she saw Crescendo. She remembers the day like it was a video playing in her head. Brooklyn remembers seeing a muscular, dark bay gelding who's hooves struck the ground like thunder. Brooklyn and Count (his given nickname) instantly hit it off. Within their first year together they managed to rise up to novice level in eventing and plan to compete in prelim.

{Ty is well muscled and strong, from years of working out and riding strong horses. He has dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and he stands just over 5'11. He is lightly tanned, from the nature of his work/hobby. His nails are short, as he bites them and long nails aren't exactly practical on the yard. His eyes are hazel, normally taking on a gold/brown hue, making them interesting. He has a small scar above his left eyebrow, and one on the right hand side of his chest, down the bottom, from and appendectomy(removal of his appendix) aged 15. He does have a six-pack as he works out regularly and believes that both horse and rider must be in top shape to compete (and the fact it helps get the girls). He wears his mother's wedding ring on a chain around his neck, as a reminder of her. He never takes it off, as it has a safety catch for when he's riding. It's normally tucked under his shirt so most don't see it often. }

{ Ty was born near London, England. His dad ran a huge eventing yard, and Ty lived and worked there until aged sixteen, where he decided to make a new start in America, wanting some independence. His mum passed away when he was young, and Ty doesn't remember her much, except for a fuzzy memory of a smile, and her leading him on a little pony. }
Personality
{ Handsome, a loner by nature but a faithful friend, Ty is a complex figure. He's brave, daring and reckless, hence his chosen equestrian discipline. He doesn't trust very easily, but once he does he will stand by you, whatever. Betray that trust, however and you are in for a nasty surprise. He's very committed to his horses, and they always come before himself. He's a focused, confident rider, and never lets anyone talk him or themselves down. Once he commits to something, he'll never back out. He's been told he's a quiet rider, but can be aggressive if he needs to. He rides better on hot horses who need a rider to calm them down, not provoke them. Rides green horses well too. }

ＴＨＥ ＰＥＲＦＥＣＴ ＳＴＯＲＭ

The Perfect Storm, known as his barn name, Storm, is a 7 year old, Irish Sports Horse cross stallion.As his name suggests, this stallion is a handful. He'll buck, nap, half rear and bolt with you if he thinks you're not paying attention. Despite his flaws, if he knows that you know what you're doing, he'll generally cut you some slack. He's a talented three-day-eventer, who excels on the cross country course, but can be a little fast in the show-jumping ring. He doesn't have much time for dressage, and has been known to throw temper tantrums if he does a lot of it, so Ty schools him in short bursts. On the ground he's fairly affectionate, and has been known to enjoy cuddles. He was an accident at an Andalusian breeding farm. One of the mares jumped her paddock and ended up in the field of an Irish Sports Horse stallion. The owners didn't realise until long into the pregnancy and there was nothing they could do about it. After he was weaned he was sold at auction cheap, where Ty's father bought him and trained him up with the help of Ty. It was a joint project. Just before Ty left for America, he gave him to Ty. All his tack is dark brown havana, with the exception of the dressage gear which is black. He wears a three point breastplate, but not martingale. He's ridden in a pelham, as he can be quite strong, and he likes the feel of the straight bar. He has no respect for a snaffle. His rugs are royal blue, as is his leadropes. All of his headcollars are also havana, with his name engraved in a metal plate on the side.
