☂ Welcome☂

Somewhere in Texas...

You're in your car and you stare out the window and see the pouring rain. You have your bags and letter in your hand. You close your eyes and remember you got that letter 2 weeks ago in the mail. It said you've been accepted into Umbrel High, a school that gives outnO invitations to random students. You are one of them. You open your eyes and realize you've stopped at Umbrel. Will you choose to get out, or stay?

☂ Rules☂

1. Follow all Tess' rules!
2. You can have as many characters as 6-8, MAX. Only have as many as [b]you can handle!
3. Keep genders even please! 22 girls and only 8 boys isn't very good.
4. Be kind and polite to your fellow RPers in OCC. Drama is encouraged expected/recommended between characters!
5. When talking OCC use (([[{{<<**>>}}]]))
6. This is optional but recommended, take signatures off.
7. Try to be post at least once a week. If you are busy that week or going somewhere, please PM me and the user(s) you were RPing with. If you forget that's fine! Just please remember that if you are offline or inactive, that you will have to be kicked/banned.
8. Gay and lesbian characters are perfectly fine!
9. Fade to black when needed to.
10. When someone asks for a recap in OCC, please give them one!
11. No 1 word posts, it's sot of spam. Have at least 1 sentence.
12. Try your best to respond, sometimes people make mistakes in typing or autocorrect fixes the word into something else.
13. PM me questions and reserves. Reserves last for 2-3 days.
14.You are auto-accepted 10 minutes after you post your form, I'm pretty slow at reading. I have to be online during those 10 minutes!
15. IMPOTANT PM me if you ever have a huge time skip!
16. Make sure the person you tagged knows how to text talk if you plan to talk or text on the phone.
17. Try to interact with other students, maybe switch after 3-4.
18. Don't RP with your own students, really makes the RP die down.

☂Living Areas (LAs)☂
Umbrel High had enough money to buy living areas or LAs. (No not in LA, California) You will be randomly assigned an LA.

I have to enforce some rules though...
•Must be back by 10:00, unless you have to stay after that time for detention, clubs, extra work, etc.
•Girls and boys must stay separate at 10:00 unless there's a party at an LA. (PM me if you plan on having party)
•If you are EVER caught with the other gender inside or outside of the LAs, you have detention for 3 days and can't participate in an event or party for 5 days.
•Respect your fellow roommates, no one gets what they always want.
•You are allowed to have your pet(s) inside your LA room.

History: Originally from a small town north of Dallas, Texas, Blake comes to Umbrel High, leaving behind many friends, his parents, Bill and Brenda, as well as younger sisters Brittany and Beth, and his best friend, his dog, a lab he called Shadow. Before being accepted into Umbrel High, he was a multi-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball. He still hopes to pursue athletic opportunities as a way to get him through college.

Personality: He has many traits, such as his sense of humor. He can be one of the funniest guys you'll meet, but at the same time, he's also very sarcastic, so be warned. Once you get to know him though, he's one of the most loyal people you'll ever meet, probably one of the best friends you'll have. Besides that though, he's crazy yet laid back and always down for a good time.

Description: Owing to his history, Blake has an athletic build, standing 6'0" and weighing 215 lbs. He has tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and copper colored hair, often styled into a fauxhawk. Also, of note, when he talks, he does have a slight Southern accent.

i have a sarcastic, sort of nasty sense of humour. it seems i'm quite bored, all the time, no matter what, and i have difficulty figuring out exactly why that is. i play the piano, i read a lot, i enjoy the quiet, and if someone ruins my sense of homeostasis, i get tense and very jumpy. i like things to go specifically my way, and in that sense, i'm a bit of a brat. i expect high efficiency of myself and others and if i'm let down, i get very upset. i dunno- i tend to ramble, i apologize.

║His hair is cut at a medium length and it is a very ║dark brown, curling to a stop around his ears and ║over his forehead. His eyes are soft, open, ║innocent, quiet. thief out to prove himself. In truth, Alto lives more in his own mind than the world around him. Many
mental wars he's held with himself have left him with scars, both mental and physical. These scars
have taught him which situations and people to avoid, how to recognize when he's falling into a down-
ward spiral and how rewind. Alto can easily interact in social situations, though he has a lonely soul
and has rarely found companionship deeper than a lighthearted friendship. He's pansexual, and seeks
only to love and be loved, while struggling with his urge to be independent. He loves fully and expects
very little in return; however, disrespect is something he won't deal with. His mind is riddled with
anxiety-based disorders, and they run as a driving force to his quest for personal perfection.

Various mildly traumatizing events during his childhood and adolescence have shaped quite a well-
rooted anxiety disorder, which branches into two main things: an eating disorder and obsessive-
compulsive disorder. The constant concentration on improving himself filled his mind, and the
compulsion to better himself spilled into other aspects in his life: neatness, achievement, etiquette.
All his life, Alto lived with a large family in a small house in an impoverished neighbourhood. He
was the only male in the very traditional household, father and grandfather having already passed.
A sensitive boy throughout his childhood and adolescence, Alto took blow after blow to his self-
confidence and his grip on the world as he grew up. He felt unsafe in his home, and this only led to
more anxiety, delving into his unhealthy attitudes further as he aged. He ran from his home when
he was sixteen and came back about a week later, and with this came a shift in the atmosphere in
the household that it never outgrew. At sixteen, he took up the piano, creating an outlet for his anger
toward himself and the stress in his life. Now, seventeen, Alto has improved himself greatly, focusing
on music, always searching for another project. His relationship with his family is still very tense,
and the move to Umbrel really could not have come at a better time.
