Corkstown is like every other town or city that yourself or someone you know lives in. It was once a tourist attraction during the summer time but now it has grown into a home for many. If you’re looking for a place to start over or become the person you’ve always know you could be—then Corkstown is the place to be. Don’t get too excited now… there’s always the drama that comes along with it. So if you’re ready—welcome to Corkstown.

As in any other small town there are shops and schools. Corkstown highschool is named after the town, with most of its students going onwards to the town's university. The local bakery is a nice shop where everyone gets their bread. The teens usually hanging out in a group either somewhere around town or at the small grocery store. Most getting a job at one of the shops, but like every town there's a cafe and a mechanic. Not to mention a Mayor. Everyone knows each other and sometimes its just to hard to keep a secret.

Be realistic, what does actually happen in a town? There are shops and yes but a small town is a place where everyone knows everyone, unless you're from out of town.

This is Semi-Lit so I ask if you can write 6 lines +, you can do what you want to the post but remember Tess's and Nick's rules throughout the Rp. Also your character may break the laws but not always.

Please try and keep genders even as well, i don't know about anyone else but I haven't gone into a town where the population ratio is 7:1.

I will pick a mini-mod later but that is later, remember in the town some people might not all be friends, but please be nice to fellow rper's

Local Sheriff || 31 || Work || Drake Wesson || Male || Understanding

Background : Born and raised in the small town, Drake was one of those kids that got up into no good. But as life seemed to pass by the little boy grew up to what he is today. He attended the local High school and university but after a few years of doingbasic courses he could never decide what he was going to be in the future. After growing a little bored of the town he moved out to the big city, one much bigger than the town he was used to. There he meet a few people and spent 4 years of his life, falling in love with a girl that he though was essentially the world to him. Only to prove him wrong when he found out she was married, sadden by the news Drake moved back to his hometown joining the police force and buying back the house that he grew up in. After a few years he became the town sheriff even if he had a record of his own he knew that it didn’t matter. He’s part of the town committee even if he is a little lazy about it but it’s all good fun in the end for the cop.

Life in the town : Drake is somewhat a little bit of a softie to some of the kids around town since he used to be one and he knows what its like. He does take his job seriously though but he only does it so he doesn’t get in trouble by some of the others, but he is known around town as you might catch him just strolling around town. At night he can be found either having a run or in the local bar/café.

Personality : Understanding, laid-back and just plain ready to have a good time. Drake likes to have a good time, he’s one to have a conversation with someone first or a complete stranger. He’s easy to talk to and almost always has a smile on his face even if he might not feel like smiling. Having fallen in love before he swears that he wont again since he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt again meaning both the girl and him. At times he can get frustrated but he doesn’t anyone get frustrated?

Works part time at the Cafe || 19 || He's studying to be a paramedic at Uni || Ian Michaels || Male || Quiet

Background : Being the son of a long line of Michaels that have lived in the town it was easy to expect Ian to start working on his reputation in the town. As a young boy Ian had been going to the local primary school and high school where he was always expected to be kept at his best. After finding out that one of his great, great, great grandfathers were one of the founders of Corkstown he knew that there was a lot expected of him it wasn’t until he reached high school that he knew he wanted to be a paramedic instead of a business man. Studying hard at school made him a look a little anti-social but it all made it worthwhile when he got the score he wanted so he could do the course he wanted in university. After school he would usually take part in the sporting games but stopped once he started University. Today, Ian has moved into his own apartment away from his parents. He spends his time either working, studying or just having a good laugh with some of the townspeople.

Life in the town : Ian is known for a little routine he does even it’s a little odd. In the mornings you can find him at the local café/coffee shop working so he can pay his college fees. Afterwards he might go and attend class where he would then finish off by visiting the local bakery, but than again that’s really what he is only known for doing in town. He loves talking to people especially girls though that’s just him and really he doesn’t mind others.

Personality : Ian is one that thinks his school work is important, he works for what he wants and strives to make a good use of his education. Socialising and sports are one thing on his mind and he did used to play sports so he is quiet fit.He knows its important to make the right choices in live so he tries to. At times he can be quiet as he is never one to voice his opinion unless it counts.

Looking for a job || 18 || Dropped out || Bradley James || Male || Laid-Back

Background : Bradley and his parents are one of the new people in town. They moved into Corkstown a few years ago when Bradley was 14 in hopes of rekindling something important though Bradley could see that there was more to the story. After a few months though the relationship with his parents was basically destroyed by their constant shouting and arguing between each other which resulted in his father leaving the town as well as him and his mother. His mother wasn’t the same which left Bradley on his own. As he started to read more books he started to talk of his dreams that he knew could never happen. Getting pre-occupied in his dream in life he started to fail school and eventually dropped out so he could spend most of his time working on his dream goal, even if it’s impossible he's still trying to reach for it.

Life in the town : Being known for dreaming he’s somewhat told to be avoided by since some think he’s a little odd. But Bradley has his own opinion on things and following dreams is something he encourages. He goes anywhere for anything and can be seen talking to some of his friends. In Bradley’s mind everything is interesting and beautiful no matter who or what it is, this is just some of the reasons why people try to avoid him.

Personality : It’s pretty obvious that Bradley is a dreamer, he follows his heart instead of his head and even if that can get him into some tricky business you know sooner or later that some good does follow him. He treats other like others treat him, other times he can be nice and a little bit of a jokester. His laid back attitude is something that might make him lazy but if you knew what he was up to then you would know that he wasn’t lazy.

Owns the local record store || 19 || Just Work, Dropped out. || Delaney Jane Smith || Female || The 'DJ'

Background : I was born and raised in Corkstown. I live with my dad and my new evil stepmother and her daughter. Ever since I can remember it has always been me, dad, and the record store. My mother died was I was really little, so I don't remember her. Dad says I look just like her, but everyone else says I look exactly like him. I like that better. My dad is my hero. My dad grew up wealthy and is wealthy to this day, but he wanted me to be raised modestly, so I was. When he attracted some tourist a few years ago wth his music and she found out he had money she never left. Ever since I was thirteen I have had o live with her and her wonderful daughter who is just a year younger than me. She is Miss Perky Perfect and I hate her.

Life in the town : Everything is alright except my stepfamily. Everyone knows me and all the kids love me. When I'm not working the record store I am usually playing songs at the coffee shop. I dj parties too, so I get around.

Personality : Delaney knows how to have fun, but knows to work hard and play later. She has been working all her life and knows the value of a dollar. She can be loud and crazy at first,but when you get to know her she is really funny and down-to-earth.

Unemployed || 18 || In School || Jessica Grace Coleman || Female || The 'Princess'

Background : I was born in Tennessee and lived there until my mother decided to drag me to a small town named Cork-whatever for a little trip. She met some hick and did a background check on him. Turns out he had money andone more thing, a daughter. My mother could get any man she waned, but apparently this guy is loaded so she turned on the charm. When I was twelve years old they got married and now I have to live in Corkstown with them. Their Cheer Squad and Dance Team suck and it was easy to become captain of both. Sure they have some hot guys, but living with Delaney sucks. This place is gross!

Life in the town : I am Head Cheerleader and Captain of the Dance team, so that is pretty great. Guys follow me like love-sick puppies so that is even better! Just one flaw, I don't live in a mansion. No maids, and I'm no longer an only child. I hate it here!!!

Personality : Jessica is vane, stuck-up, and rude. She only cares for herself and will do whatever she can to get there. She hates hard work and would rather pay someone to do it for her. Jess is a major flirt and is a bit of a tease.

Works at the Record Store || 22 || Just Work || Caleb Reece Lomon || Male || The 'Smooth' One

Background : Caleb was born and raised in this town. His mother raised him alone because his dead-beat dad left them. From a paper boy to a bagger at the grocery store he was always taking up small jobs to help out here and there. Everyone in town knew him and liked him. Little old ladies relied on him to shovel their walks every winter and for him to rake leaves every fall. His teenage years were alright, he was popular and dated all the girls, but they didn't know his life at home. He turned down drugs and alcohol to avoid ending up like his father. He left parties early for the night shift of whatever job he had that night. After he graduated his mother passed of a heart attack. After her death he has turned into that bad boy kind of. He does his job well enough, but he sleeps with every single woman and town and spies on the college parties.

Life in the town : He is like in town. The old ladies have always liked him and now give him a hard time about being a little player, but they still bake him cookies.Everyone knows him, but some people think he's a pig which he is.

Personality : He is a pig. He think he can get whatever he wants just by laying on the charm. If he sees that you are hot he will try and get your number. Some things he does is illegal and harrasment and all that, but he always finds a way to get himself out of trouble. He sees women as objects and the more he can get the better.
