Joey grinned and nodded, following Dom up to the counter. "Can I please order two croissants, an iced tea and a white hot chocolate?" he asked charmingly, beaming when the waitress nodded. He wandered back to the table and sat beside Lexi, taking her hand in his and kissing it delicately. "It should be around ten minutes."

Lexi blushed slightly and stared at the table. "My gentleman..." she whispered, gently kissing his cheek. "Wait... Joey, where's the necklace?" she whispered into his ear, feeling her chest to make sure she wasn't accidently wearing it.

"The last time I checked, you were wearing it!" he admitted quietly, barely moving his lips as he murmured the words to her in a tone so low that hopefully Dom couldn't hear. "I didn't see you take it off when you changed! Isn't it... still on you?" he asked as calmly as he could manage, though panic was rising in his chest. It was an heirloom, the last thing he had of his family's that wasn't a house or furniture.

Lexi checked her shirt and started laughing as she pulled the necklace from her bra. "Haha..." she said awkwardly as she tried to put it back on. "Joey.. Would you mind?" she asked, giving him an innocent smile while she held out the necklace to him.

Joey rolled his eyes and shrugged as if he hadn't just had a miniature fake heart attack, but grinned and slipped the chain from her fingers. He stepped behind her and undid the lobster hook, then lifted the ring over her head and did the clasp back up. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders from behind, his lips playing at her ear as he whispered, "Is that better?"

Dom watched the pair, amused by their antics. He knew they didn't want him to hear, but he couldn't help smiling to himself when Joey looked relieved that Lexi found a necklace in her bra. To hide his grin, he looked to the counter, nodding to the waitress that carried out a tray of food. She brought it over to the table, setting it down next to Dom. "Thank you," he said happily, knowing it was polite to wait for everyone to get their food before eating. He resisted the urge to scarf it all down right away, and looked at Joey to deter his stomach from overriding his brain.

Lexi giggled quietly and nodded. "Yes. Much better," she said softly, glancing over at Dom a few times. She watched as the waitress brought their food over and she smiled. "Thank you," she said simply, looking down at her croissant and iced tea. She looked at Joey, then back at Dom.

Dom immediately began eating, in the way only teenage boys do. Even though it had been less than 24 hours since he had last eaten, you'd think he had been starved slowly and cruelly. In less than a minute, he had devoured the entire contents of the tray set before him. When he has finished, he looked up Lexi, knowing that she kept looking at him. "What?" he said, grinning over the rim of his glass of water.

Lexi immediately looked down as if she was having a staring contest with her croissant. "Nothing!" she said quickly as she began pulling her food apart into sizable amounts for eating. She pulled her iced tea over and hit the straw against her lip. She then pulled the straw into her mouth and began sucking in the tea.

Dom shrugged and chugged the rest of his water. "Nothing my arse." he muttered goodnaturedly, in high spirits from the good meal. "So, uh, how long have you guys been here? And where is everyone? From what I read on the website, it was supposed to be nearly full for the summer." That was the one thing about the camp that really confused him. He hadn't seen anyone but Joey and Lexi. No counselors, no campers, only them and the waitress here at the cafe.
