Emerald nodded. "Alright then Matt." She stood and followed him over to his horse. "Who is it? I know pretty much everybody within a ten mile radius of here. I could probably help." she suggested. She looked up at him just in time to see him mouth moving, though she could not hear what he had said. She raised an eyebrow slightly as if to ask what he had said.

"My brother, My mother tol-," he stopped, "My foster mother, told me to search for him," he said and nodded. "Things are complicated for me," he didn't know if he should ever bother explaining, he decided he wouldn't. He turned his back on Emerald and walked to the stall where Dallas was kept. Five years, he thought, five years searching fruitlessly, why did he even do this? Why did he bother, he couldn't think about his reassons, they were too complex and emotional. Sometimes he felt like letting all his troubles go away. In fact, he kept a small bottle and a note with him at all times, just in case, just in case he felt so bad one day. He knew it was depressing but he couldn't help it. Five years could do a lot to a person, and Matthew didn't know if he'd been changed for the better.

Chris didn't stagger as Arowin threw her arms around him, but a small gasp escaped his mouth. Her lips felt pleasurable on his cheek, but Chris starved for more, had awaited this for years now, and confronted her with a deep, lingering kiss on the mouth. His lips worked effortlessly, his hand pressed into the small of her back, pulling her to him. His hand reached to cup her neck and when he finally pulled back, he was panting for breath. He cleared his throat softly and looked her full in the face. "Excuse me," he apologized like the gentleman he was, though he didn't seem the least bit sorry, except for the light blush that he felt heating his neck. "Arowin," he said again, exhaling in comfort, satisfied to be with her at last. "I don't know if you can ever forgive me for leaving you, but I couldn't stay away any longer. I was here all along, with you, even though you didn't know it. That doesn't pardon the fact that I turned my back on the Hood when they needed me the most. If you wish it, just tell me now to be gone and you will never have to see me again." His eyes shifted downward in guilt, but then traveled back up to Arowin's, telling her everything; the way he felt was clear.

Prince Stephan closed his eyes for a moment, biting his lip, an amused expression forming on his face. He opened them again, shaking his head slightly, and chuckled disbelievingly under his breath. "I'm sorry," he said, embarrassed. "I just forgot what I was going to say."

Emerald nodded. "Oh alright." She picked up her dagger from the tack box and put it back in it's sheath. "Good luck then. If you need any help, The Hood is just around the corner." she offered. She looked him over one more time, her eyes unnarrowed and the familiar look of sadness in them. She blinked and the look disappeared. She had let Casper go. Just because this stranger looked like him didn't mean a thing. She couldn't slip back to what she had been because of this. She offered a small smile, hoping to distract herself from her thoughts.

((Here goes on the recap front...
The Hood made plans to rob the castle's treaury at the changing of the guards, they had been planning this for a good while and they made a game plan. Meanwhile on the other side fo the castle, Matthew, Casper's long lost brother was making the exact smae plans for the exact same time. They were approaching at an even pace but were on opposite sides of the castle. Matthew met Arowin in said treasury room, and they all managed to excape...just. The Hood then met Matthew once again outside the forest, Arowin seems to like him, but no-one else really does. Emerald instantly saw the likeness between him and Casper, there was a whole episode of arguing there, but neither sides are any closer to finding out that Matthew is the deceased Casper's brother. Arowin went into the depths of the forest to visit the catacomb of dead hood members, Chris followed her as he had been hiding for years, they have been reunited. I don't know what's going on elsewhere but I hope thishelps to set the scene))

Matthew was shaken from his suicidal thoughts by Emerald's words. He knew he was mad, but he also knew now just how badly he had to find his brother. "Thank you," he said to her, "Take care of yourself Emerald," he added, with a small friendly nod then he retacked his horse and swung himself up. "I doubt my mother's told him anything, but if a man called Percy comes your way do tell him I'm in the area," and with that he trotted up and out of the castle belonging to the hood. It was not the end, he would most certainly return, in fact, he had enjoyed Emerald's company, despite being put off by her glares and scowls. In fact, he had jsut enjoyed knowing some outlaws, some more people like him.

(( Merlin? I have no clue what that is... Anyways, Chris just returned to Arowin after being gone for 5 years and they are in the meadow by the cave talking. Emerald is seeing off Matthew, who reminds her a lot of Casper (he is Casper's brother but nobody knows it), Prince Stephan and Rebecca are talking in Stephan's quarters at the old castle where everyone is staying, and Prince Kyle is getting in bed... it's late... I would say the best place to jump in would be with Emerald... ))

After 5 years, Frank had not changed apart from the fact he had lost weight, his facial features had grown bony and a small amount of red stubble covered his lower jaw, his eyes had darkened aswell but still had their original sky blue brightness. He was riding his trusty steed, Diad who had gorwn stiff over the years aswell. As per ususal Frank was riding through the forest trails, he had left the hood for a couple of years, clearing his head and such....or so he said. His knightly clothes had been swapped for other garments and Diads knights tack had been downsized so it was less flamboyant than normal. As he rode, a low sore cough erupted from his lungs. He had been suffering from an illness over the winters and it had gotten the better of him.
As he rode along, Diads hooves crunching slightly on the leaves, he swore he had heard raised voices and rode forward to find out who or what was causing it.
