Lindsey lead Sunny back into his stall and put his halter back on the hook near the stall door, she jumped back, startled, when somebody yelled, "hello?" she turned and saw the voice belonged to a guy about her own age. She walked up to him and said," You seem a little lost need help?"

Matthew//single//open

Matthew walked up to the main barn hoping he could find some company there, he didn't see anybody that he could socialize with. That's when he noticed the lesson sign-up board, he looked at the specialty lessons offered today, and put his name under "Cross Country" it would be a good way to introduce his horse to the outdoor facilities and get some practice.

I arrived earlier that day, so my dorm was already organized. I was coming out of Olympic's stall when I saw a guy with his horse in tow looking around. I approached him. "Hi, I'm Marie" I extended my hand offering him a handshake.

I then noticed a girl coming up to speak to him. I turned to her and introduced myself "Hi I'm Marie" in a friendly tone.

Camden

I had finished grooming raven, even brushing his mane and tail and making sure he was glossy clean. I pushed the grooming tote to the side, kneeling down and giving Jackson a pat on his head. I stood and walked to the tack room, finding my section in the room. There were three saddles, each one having a different coloured cover. I thought for a moment, thinking of what to practice. "I guess I'll just use my all purpose saddle." I sighed lightly and took the saddle with a navy cover. I held it like I always did, resting the pommel over my hip, holding it by the panel. I took the black all-purpose bridle, putting it over my shoulder. I brought the tack out to the cross-ties and put the saddle on the saddle rack, hanging the bridle on the hook beside it. I went back to the tack room and got raven's accessories. I grabbed his navy saddle pad, matching fly vail, black breast collar, bell boots, and all-purpose boots. I returned to the cross-ties and set the extra items down. I began tacking up Raven, be sure everything was placed perfectly.

Gavin's attention turned to the girl that just introduced himself to her and he let a small smile play at his lips. "Hi Marie, I'm Gavin," he said, holding out a hand to shake. She looked pretty, but also very young. He wondered how long she had been here, or if she had just gotten here like himself. "oh, and this is my horse, Walt," he added, eyes flicking to the huge gelding. He took a chance and asked her a question. "Do you know where to find out stall assignments? I just want to get him settled in." he said, blue eyes trailing back to Marie. A smile still lingered on his lips, since he was going to be friendly, at least for the first day.

I took his hand and shook it, I returned his warm smile.
"Hi Walt. Do you mind if I pet him?" I asked eagerly.
"Oh and the stall assignments are posted on the bulletin board by the main office. I actually have my own copy, I arrived early so they told me to help out . I looked at the sheet and read the list. "You horse's stall is number 8, which is also four stalls down from mine" I replied

Gavin appreciated the girl asking permission to pet Walt, even though he wouldn't hurt a fly. "Yeah, go ahead," he said with a smile, blue eyes wandering to his horse. "He's a percheron thoroughbred cross, standing at 17.2 hands," he said, a bit braggy. He loved to brag about his horses height. When Marie told him what stall he was in he nodded, moving towards stall number eight. He lead the gelding into the stall and then took his halter off, letting him get settled in. He hung the leather halter and lead up and then shut the stall door, turning back to Marie. "Which one is your horse?" he asked, smiling.

Marie admired the way he allowed her to pet his horse, and she liked the way he respected Walt.
She beamed when Gavin asked about her horse. "My horse is in stall 4." She replied still smiling. Marie led Gavin to her horse's stall. "Hello boy" Marie called out to Olympic Dream in a loving tone. "Gavin, meet Olympic Dream, but I call him Dream for short. Dream meet Gavin." Olympic Dream neighed in response. Marie laughed and petted him on his nose. "He is a Irish Sport Horse or also commonly known as the Irish Hunter. My dad picked him out for me, I'm lucky too Olympic breeds are expensive, maybe one day we will make it to the Olympics. Well at least that's what my dad would have wanted." She rubbed Dream 's muzzle. Her eyes filled with a bit of sadness then she quickly blinked it away. "Anyway he's 17 hands. He might not be as big as Walt but I love him no matter what" she added with a laugh. Marie pulled an apple out of her jacket pocket and fed it to Dream.
