Patric grinned and leaned his head against Ella's in a bit of a joking manner, then said, "If we're still locked up tomorrow morning, I'll teach you a bit of quarterstaff fighting, and maybe you can show me how to use those daggers of yours."

"Sure." Ella said. She looked across the room. "I might have some old pants of my brother's in those drawers. I took them from him as a joke. You could change out of the wet ones. Dont worry, I wont look." She said.

"Great, said Patric, standing up. He rumaged through the drawer until he found a pair that would fit, and peeled off his wet pants.
[I'll edit in just a second- I have to go to dinner.]

Ella turned away while he was changing. She stared at the wall until he was done.

Patric pulled on the pants and sat down on Ella's bed, looking out the porthole into the stormy night. "That's strange..." he said aloud. "For a moment there, I thought maybe I saw somebody jump ship and swim away."

"It's probably just the storm playin tricks." Ella said. She laid on her bed, leaving enough room for Patric if he wanted to lay down.

"Yeah, you're probably right," said Patric with a yawn, curling up on Ella's bed. He was too tired to really see clearly anymore, so he pulled his jacket tighter for warmth and fell into a dozing sort of sleep.

Ella wrapped a few blankets tightly around Patric. She pulled an extra blanket onto te floor, next to the fire.
