Duke looked up at the horse barely listening to his words until a tongue rasped over his head, the doberman growled and backed away slowly rubbing a paw over his head. He hated to be touched.. unless it was by Julia. "Good to know, I'm Duke nice to meet you I think." He snorted and placed his paw down after he was sure the 'horse germs' were off of him. "My mistriss will show you your stall, I hvae dog buisness to take care of so... see ya around." Duke promtly stood up and walked off toward the barn.

Julia smiled "Excellent, I'm sure you'll be a great addition." She answered the girl's question with a "Follow me, I have just the place for them." and began walking toward the barn after smiling down at Bailey. "She's beautiful". Once she enterted the barn Julia walked down the aisle a ways and stopped next to Ace's stall "Rio can go here and Calypso across from him." There was no stall next to Calypso so there wouldn't be a probelm with her skittish ways. "I should tell you that tommrow morning is when I start lessons. 9:00 sharp, be there if you want... I teach English first, then Western for another hour. Glad to have you here Emily. The cabins are just up the hill so pick whichever one's vacant." The woman waved and wlked out of the barn towards the areanas, hoping to survey the damage before she started work.

Emily smiled "thanks." and waved goodbye to the woman. She promptly began to settle her horse's in. She let Rio into his stall first, beings he was the easiest to settle in. She watched him for a moment as he began to investigate his new stall. It was roomy, it was clean, and it was in good condition. He liked it. He flicked his tail and snorted, looking up at Emily and Calypso. Emily smiled and began to lead Calypso towards her new stall. Emily had to go into the stall first and coax Calypso in, which took a while. She finally got the mare to go in and rewarded her with a rub on the nose "good girl!" she cooed, rubbing the mare's nose again. Emily carefully exited the stall and went to get the sign that she put on Calypso's stall to warn others of her biting behavior. She's bitten other riders before and she had to be quarantined, but that's not going to happen again. She grabbed the sign from the front seat of her truck and walked back into the barn. The sign said BEWARE This horse bites. Do Not put your hands in the stall. Thank you. Emily placed it on the stall door and sighed. She hated for people to refrain from petting her, but she didn't want anyone to get hurt. She turned and went to get her tack chest from her truck and put it in the tack room.

Calypso snorted and flicked her tail warily. She looked around uneasily and sniffed around her stall. The mare would have a hard time living here... She just knew it. The andalusian mare snorted and let out a high pitched whinny in anxiety because Emily was out of her sight.

Spartan grazed quietly in the back of the paddock. The stallion was a strong and beautiful... But that didn't stop his tmeper and the lust for mares. He flicked his tail and snorted. The sun beat down on his silver grulla coat. It felt good. He loved the sun, and they way it made his coat shine. He looked over and saw River not too far away... He would try his luck again, once Ace moved out of his way.

May dipped her head in a hello. "Nice to meet you, Ace. My name is May and I have no family here." She sighed. But I sure would like it if I did have family here. "Does River Song have any friends here? She looks like she could use some," she said to Ace, watching the mare trot around, tail raised in an ignorant way.

Angel twitched her ear and decided to go to the barn to see if anyone left some dog food for her. She turned away from all the new members and bounded towards the large building. When she reached it, she slipped in through the large door, which was a crack open, and almost instantly the smell of the larger animals hit her. Her nose wrinkled and she padded over to a row of silver bows and bent down to drink the water from one of them, then ate dog chow from the bowl next to it.

Bailey padded along side Emily as she took her tack chest to the tack room. The Labrador padded over to Calypso's stall and put her front legs on the stall door. She looked into the bars and barked with a bit of a whine in there. She wagged her tail as Calypso looked towards her "how ya doin Callie?" Bailey always called Calypso, Callie. It was just a pet name she gave her.

Calypso sighed "all these strangers are makin my nerves worse than they already are." she said, not bothering to come any closer to the door. The Andalusian mare snorted and flicked her ears around, listening to everything.

Ace smiled sympathetically to May and flicked his black tail "It's alright, River and i don't eitheir we just have one another." he glanced over to the mare who was prancing near Spartan alittle too close for his liking. "River's more independent and doesn't have alot of friends... okay she doesn't have any but she's happy to be left alone, she only tolerates me and Duke, so don't waste your breth trying to be nice." he leaned down to graze watching Spartan intently.

River Song tossed her black mane unaware of the watchful eyes, she took pride though in knowing that stallions gazed in awe at her beauty. She snorted and stopped to graze in the sunlight. Back in Egypt, many stallion had tried to court her, being off to war with other people made them heros something she admired in a stallion

Spartan snorted softly and mozied over to the fence, backing off and running at it full force. The fence was lower than it should be, so it was easy for him to jump it. He jumped over the fence, something he's known to do and began to prowl over and claim his prize, River. The silver grulla stallion stopped a few feet away from her and flicked his tail, watching her intently.

Emily situated her things in the tack room and she went to go find a cabin. She whistled for Bailey to follow her and the chessie flowed her obediently. She let Bailey in her truck and went to unhitchthe trailer before going to the cabin. After unhitching the trailer she headed to the cabins. She picked a nice one, it was cozy and it had two storys, which was nice. She began to unload her things and unpack while Bailey investigated the new house.

River Song swished her black tail, it had a streak of white in it almost like she had rubbed it against wet paint. The mare was unaware of Spartan watching her and Ace was concentrated on May not far off, she snorted and tossed her head chewing the grass slowly. When she became aware of a presence she lifted her head and looked around her black head arched perfectly as she shifted on her hooves. She watched the stable yard come to life with people and a few horses being unloaded from trailers, after her earlier encounter with Spartan the mare had been wary but it al escaped her now as she thought the stallion was in another pasture.

Spartan chuckled inwardly to himself, and began to prance around her so she couldn't escape "Hello River." he said, Lust filled words comming from his kissers. The stallion held his head high, and his audits were up straight and was able to listen to things comming towards him. Spartan flicked his tail, and snorted. "May I say, you look lovlier than you did in our previous encounter..." he said. The stallion's pace around the mare was steady, and graceful.

After Emily had gotten most of her stuff unpacked, she decid3ed it was about time to let her horses out in the paddock for a little fresh air. She left the cabin, and made her way down to the barn where her two prized posseions waited. Calypso flicked her tail, where she still remained at the back of her stall. Shye heard the firmiliar footsteps of her mistriss, and her ears perked up. She came to the fron of the stall, which she did only with Emily. Emily smiled nad rubbed the mare's nose and grabbed Calypso's Halter and her Lead Rope. Emily slipped the halter onto the mare's face and fastened it. She slowly lead the mare out of the stall and and began leading her to the paddock. She would introduce her to the other horses.

River Song flicked her ears when she heard that familiar voice that voice she wanted to kick where the sun didn't shine, the mare looked up a scowl written across her muzzle. She snorted and stomped a hoof " Spartan" she breathed with annoyance. She glanced over at Ace, he was farther than he liking but possibly Julia would hear the confrontation like last time. "Oh please Spartan, flattery will get you no where, we all know what your after." The mare kept eyes on him the whole time as he circled her. She snorted uneasily but ready to deliver a well deserved kick. "Move along Spartan, I'm in no mood for your herding crap."
