Alice

She had missed the first day of school, but it wasn't the first time. The past three days were spent registering, un-packing and organizing. As usual, her mother was on a spritz of buying new furniture, and getting Alice to polish the silver-ware like a good girl. She had avoided the subject by hiding out in her room, trying new styles with her hair. But today was Saturday, and she was going to make a move on her new town. After feeding Mr. Crackers, she slipped out of the house, leaving a note on the fridge, reading Going to make friends ~Alice She approached her bike, and dusted the banana seat off. Alice mounted and leaned her arms on the handle, peering down the driveway. Her mother had told her that they were living in one of the largest neighborhoods, good business. Alice peddled slowly down the lanes, the morning sun behind her.

I sit on my porch swing and pretend to be happy my mother is going away for business. A whole house to myself. She'll be back on Thursday, of course. I kick my feet back and forth and get Xavier out of his little pen type area. Monroe looks up at me, and I grab him too. I scratch both rabbit's between the ears and take them out to the lawn. I set them down and sit down cross legged with them. They hop a short distance and hop back. I notice a girl on a bicycle and wave.

Bay:
She fell on the ground by the loud sound of her alarm clock. "Stupid clock. It's Saturday." She growled then went to the bathroom to take a shower and brush her teeth. Then she got on her jogging outfit and then went outside and ran around the neighborhood like everyday.

Alice waved back at the girl on her porch. She saw two little white smudges. Pulling into the girl's drive-way, she squinted and realized that it was two bunnies. "Hey, I'm Alice. Cute bunnies."
