"Look at me, Ali. Don't look away. Look into my eyes. I'm real, you can touch me. You can interact with me. I'm human. Whatever you are seeing isn't real. You must not watch. You must not let it bother you. Stay with me." Daniel said as if to a scared child. She grabbed hold of her arms and didn't let go.
(Yes, Daniel likes to help, but is very insane himself.)

Zara cried, closing her eyes. She hated this place. She hated being here. She hated her dreams. She just wanted to be alone. Alone at last, normal, without any insanity. She feared it a lot like ants and doctors.

Doctor Smiley looked up from his food again. What did the kids want now!? He looked over to see a girl... photogrpahic memory flipped through his metal files trying to connect her picture to something, his fingers even ticked lightly on the desk as he did so. Karrissa... she didn't seem to be feeling very sane right now "Yes, I could kill you very easily." he stated, as if it was an every day question, for him though it was. "Karrissa? Are you feeling completely sane right now?" he asked hesitantly, he knew the answer but it was curtisy to ask.

"They're real too! I can touch and interact with them too, but they want to hurt me, they're angry at me, they think I'm the one that hurt them!" she protested tears starting to roll down her cheeks, she didn't like the ghosts, they scared her, they tried to hurt her... they had hurt her, they were the reason she was here. "They were human." she whispered, trying not to cry, she wasn't going to cry. She heard the whispering growing louder and louder. She grabbed tightly onto Daniel's arms, her nails starting to bite his skin a little. He was warm, he was human, he wasn't going to hurt her. She clung on tightly as though she was suspended over a cliff, she felt like she was, her heart racing, she head was fuzzy and everything felt weak.

"You can't let them hurt you. Turn away from them. Look at me. Never look away. Not once. If you look away they'll get satisfaction. It's like a little brother who loves to tease you. If you let him, he just does it more. They can't hurt you if you don't give them the satisfaction. Ignore them long enough and they'll leave you alone. Don't look at her. The lady is just a ghost, nothing more. She's a shadow of the past, nothing more." Daniel soothed, never blinking.

Ali gave a scared little nod, she couldn't tell if Daniel frightened her or she trusted him, not yet. She kept looking up at him, trying not to look away, it was hard, she was so used to having her eyes downcast and never looking up. She bit her lip, almost enough to draw blood but not quiet. She didn't understand why he would bother to help her. "W-why are you helping me?" she asked, her voice still sad and whispering. She didn't know how much long she could keep this up without staring at her toes, but she tried to keep going, the voices were angry and she would rather face Daniel than them.

Uh... nope, not at the moment.
Traumatic Event:
When John was 12, his dad took him hunting. On their hunting trip, his "wonderful" father had just helped John kill a bear. He handed his dad the camera and went and stood next to the bear. When his dad was about to take the picture, the bear jumped up and attacked him. His dad picked up a rifle and shot.... the bullet missed, it hit John, not the bear. He fell to the ground and passed out. The last thing he saw was the bear getting shot. When he woke up, he was in a hole. He heard crying, as shovelfuls of dirt were thrown on top of him. Luckily, the next day, a man with a metal detector dug him up. He was taken to the hospital, and was there for a week or so. Afterwards, little Johnny was sent to an orphanage.... his asylum sentence continues the story.
Trigger:
Mainly blood, killing, and things of that sort. Anything that gives him that blood-thirsty feeling.
How Long Have They Been Trapped:
Been there 'bout 3 weeks... or was it 2... heck, maybe he just got thrown in yesterday.
Asylum Sentence:
On John's 18th birthday they were celebrating, because he could finally leave the orphanage and live on his own. He was cutting cake for everyone, when one of his friends snuck up on him and scared him. Out of natural instinct, John turned around and sliced his friends throat. Blood went everywhere. OH....that scent of blood. He couldn't RESIST it. That lovely scent made him go on a blood-thirsty rampage though the orphanage, killing everyone in sight. Suddenly, he had a flashback. The bear... it didn't jump up at him. It was dead. His dad shot him because he was on the verge of a rampage AFTER killing that bear. By the time he snapped out of the flashback, he was being dragged into an asylum... huh.
Personality:
It can vary. But usually, happy. Very social, kinda weird. Psychiatrists have called him interesting. (If I start role-playing, and his personality is completely different than what I said... sorry, I'm not good with planning personalities ahead of time.)
History:
Fairly average, went to a lot of social events, parties, things like that. He's also been known to be a pretty accomplished worker. If someone needed work done around the house, or any odd jobs done, Johnny was always ready to help.

She can summon animals. Spirits of nature or somethin'. Not many people can see them. Usually only she can, That's why when she uses her powers that eye glows green. It let's her see them.
How Long Have They Been Trapped:

Asylum Sentence:
One day, Katherine was hanging out in town. She tried to summon a cat, her favorite animal. IT WORKED! It looked kinda funny though... oh well. While Katherine was obsessing over how cute it was, it started TALKING to her. A cat... talking. It tried to convince her to burn down the dog store. Katherine didn't want to, she loved all those cute little puppies. But she didn't have a choice... for some reason she couldn't control herself. She blacked out before anything happened, but the next thing she knew, there was a cute little spirit kitty on her shoulder, and she was being dragged away from a burning building... "What happened?"
Personality:
Hyper, childish, usually playful, loves animals, cats especially... that pretty much sums it up.
History:
She's always loved animals. She's even helped out around the pet store. It was pretty common to find her at the zoo, after all, she did have a life-time subscription to get in the zoo for free.

After He left I scowled. "Why does he scare me?" I murmured. Quickly, I passed Jason toward the front of the building, where you could look outside and see things that weren't in the courtyard. I looked outside and my heart skipped a beat. Ripjaw. My beloved Ripjaw."Ripjaw?" I asked. He barked, seeing my movements. "Ripjaw!" I exclaimed. "Stay there!" Excitedly, I turned away and ran to Doctor Smiley's office. I barged in and said, "My wolf is outside the building. He is in front. Let him in!"

Madi would do her own thing, Jason decided. She wasn't insane, just easily distracted. He began walking to the cafe(teria?), looking for something to eat, when he came upon the front window. He looked out and saw something. "R-Ripjaw? How is that... no, it can't be him. It's just a statue. There's no logical way he could find Madi." He shook his head and kept moving.

"I'm helping you because I don't want you to be scared. Not anymore. I see you every single day here and you are one who I can help. Trust me, Ali. Tune them out. Just forget they are there." Daniel whispered to her. He loved her, but it was to be a secret now. She was to be calm now. He could help her. He knew he could.

Jeremiel has shaggy brown hair, and a thin body. He's always had a dog collar on, and he calls himself "Je-Je", which is written on the dog tag that is attached the the collar. He stands at about 5'8", when he stands at his full height. The boy eats barely anything, so he's unhealthily skinny. His eyes are a pale shade of gray, and he's blind, though he won't admit to it.

Telekinesis, and he sees ghosts...

His classmates found him odd since he always had someone leading him places, and how he could move objects without touching them... he'd hurt plenty of people with his .. *ahem*, power.
Personality:
Je-Je is normally shy and quiet and won't talk much. He frightens easily, but he has a short temper, and will do anything to defend himself. He's often found mumbling things to himself in a different language, but he's usually quiet other than that.
History:
As a kid, Jeremiel could see perfectly fine, so he was like any other kid, until you got him angry. When he was angry, things would fly across the room, but he rarely lost his temper as a smaller child. Later on in life, when he was about ten, stranger things happened, but he continued to live his life like any normal kid would, until he found out about the death of his parents...

Having seemingly gone crazy, going on about the death of her parents, realistic nightmares, and talking to things that arent' really there.
Personality:
Nina has a mild temper, and though she's powerless, she's rather intimidating. She's usually your perky, happy, cheerful girl who would do anything to protect her family and friends.
History:
A little bit like Je-Je's, but her's was to stay at home. She had finished high school, graduated, and worked at home to fix it up so that Jeremiel could get around easier because of his blindness. Until the death of her parents, everything back at the house seemed normal. After their death, she started seeing things, hearing things, and having nightmares that seemed too real.

The Doctor looked up again, seeing the girl... Madi was back, rambling on about some wolf or dog or whatever. "It's not allowed to come in, the only things that come in are the subjects and nothing gets back out." he said, glaring over his food, what did it take for a man to eat any food around here. He shook his head, spreading both his hands out on the table and glaring at the couple of subjects that had burst into his lab "Would you all mind leaving? I have a subject outside that needs a very close eye and has been waiting through all of your fanatics."

Ali wanted to tell him how hard it really was, the voices had always been there and the longer they were the harder it became, they were hard to get rid of, it hurt to try. She looked down and gave a little nod, not finding words to say. It had used to be easy, when she had been a little kid they had sung her to sleep and been nice to her... but ever since the crash they had been mad, she didn't know why, but since the crash they had hated her. She felt an icey hand on her shoulder, she tried to stay calm, it was probably just one of the others "Is there someone behind me?" she whispered, trying not to concentrate on the thing, she didn't want to know what it was.
