Gale smiled gently at Lucy and took her hand. When Lucy presented him with the scan results, he sucked in a big breath. "Well, would you look at that," he mused. "It's a baby. That's our baby on here, Lucy." Gale put the picture of the scan in his folder. "Listen, baby," Gale ran a hand nervously through his hair. "I know that you're scared, and I know that you are nervous, but I just want you to know that I'm here for you." Gale ran a hand down the side of Lucy's beautiful face. "I will always be here for you," Gale kissed Lucy's cheek. "And I just wanted you to know that."

Cora heard a knock at her room at Demtri's Home for Pregnant Teens. Cora jumped up, but immediately regretted it because she felt queasy. "It must be Payden," she thought. "Come in, Payden!" Cora called. Her door was unlocked. Cora sank slowly to the floor. She felt like she would be sick if she moved any more. Cora wanted to sit against her bed with Payden's arms around her. Cora just felt like **** this morning.

I smile as I walked in then I saw Core on the floor. I ran to her side. "Core, are you okay? Why are you only the floor? Are you in labor? Oh it's way to early for that! Core babe talk to me..." I said in a rush as my protective side came out. I just cared to much about her and the baby. I held her hand wait for a response.

Cora pulled Peyden to her and hugged him tight. She laughed just a little. "No I'm fine, the baby's fine. Just feeling a little morning sickness." She took his arm and put it around her shoulder and Cora snuggled into Peyden. Cora smiled brightly at Peyden. Cora kissed Peyden's cheek. She was feeling very affectionate this morning, and her sickness was subsiding. "We are both fine," Cora restated.

Cora wrapped her arms around Peyden's neck and buried her head in his shoulder, breathing in his sweet smell. Peyden always smelled like home to Cora. Somewhere safe where Cora knew she could go if she was in trouble or scared. And considering her situation, she was both. "I'm sorry baby," she whispered. Cora took one of Peyden's hands and pressed it to her stomach, near what Cora thought might be the foot. "Do you feel her? She's not very big right now, but she's growing," Cora grinned very big. Cora placed her free hand somewhere else on her baby bump. Weather she, or the world, liked it or not, there was a baby growing inside of Cora, and Cora loved her very much. "I think it's a girl. We can find out in a week. I'm excited. Are you excited?" Cora asked Peyden.

"What do you think? I'm super excited about being a father to your child." I said sincerely. I leaned down pulled up Cores shirt so I could see her stomach then kissed it around were the baby was. He couldn't wait to be a dad.
