Charlie laughs, "yeah, I guess so."

"You guess? No you are.." Damon said with a smile at the warm sound of Charlie's laugh.

CHarlie smiles shyly.

Charlie sat in silence with a smile for a bit. He watched as a duck followed by her ducklings swam across the pond. He chuckled and murmured, "I wish we had some bread..".

Charlie smiles, "Yeah." He gets up and slowly moves towards the pond. He crouches and offers a hand to one of the ducklings. He clucks like one of the ducks and it comes towards him.

Damon leaned back on the bank watching as Charlie played with the duckling. The simple image of Charlie showing such tender, gentle kindness to the playful little duckling was so heartwarming, Damon bit his lower lip in fighting back his emotional tears. He honestly hated being so emotional, but here was nothing he could really do about it other then deal with himself. He slowly crept down next to Charlie and wore a lopsided grin as he said softly," too cute..".

Charlie carefully picks up the duckling. he takes Damon's hand and sets the duckling on his hand. "If you stay quiet it won't get spooked."

Damon smiled widely and pet the duckling ever so gently as he held the fragile little guy. Nodding slowly, he remained quiet. Admiring not only the adorable little duckling or the amazing guy he was lucky to have as a boyfriend, but the overall beauty of the moment, Damon never thought possible for him to ever experiences, while sitting next to the pond, listening to the lapping of the waves against the bank, the chirps of the ducklings and call of the mother duck as the wind blew threw the trees. It was perfect,everything about that moment was simply perfect.

"Momma wants her baby back," Charlie gently takes the duckling and sets it back into the water. "Aren't they wonderful?" Charlie watches them go. "The mother never abandons their babies and always care for them." He sounds wistful saying it.

"What if I dont wanna give em' back?" DAmon asked with a warm chuckle present in his voice as he handed over the little duckling. "If a mother never abandons her babies then when one of ducklings gets lost I guess you can say theirs hope he will be found again." He said reassuringly, implying that Charlie was really no longer taking so much about the ducks then he was himself.
