Sam's eyes widened, an odd array of brown and blue. "The Hood. Of course," he breathed, before realizing he had spoken. The girl was looking at him strangely, and he remembered her question. "My name is Sam," he told her simply, smiling broadly. With his gift, he was not afraid to speak the truth. Nobody even knew his name in the first place. "I was hoping I could ask the King for assistance. In fact, maybe you can help me. I'm traveling to see my uncle. He lives far off, in another kingdom. I've come a long ways so far, and am in need of food and water, perhaps a nice place to stay. But I've heard of the Hood, and I'm not fond of them either. In fact, when I return from my uncle's, I was planning on getting a little revenge on the Hood myself. I'm sure his Majesty supports my efforts." Sam put a little purr into his voice; over the years he had trained his words to convince others and make them do things against their better judgement. He waited for the effect to take over this girl.

Frank chuckled drearily "Scoot over? For the likes of you! No way" he joked, smiling down at Emerald, placing an arm round her, leaning in and kissing her cheek "I was thinking, if you wanted to know, about what happens after all of this" he said suddenly, his expression serious yet sympathetic "I mean, we can't live like this forever can we?" he asked rhetorically, stretching out his free arm, pulling the covers over himself and her.

Emerald gasped in mock shock. "The likes of me? What exactly is that supposed to mean?" She giggled and cuddled closer next to him, resting her head on his chest and closing her eyes. "After The Hood you mean?" She shrugged, thinking. "Well I honestly don't know. I haven't really planned that far ahead." In fact, she never even tried to plan about what would happen if the Hood disbanded. She never thought they would, but with a frown she realized that it was very much a possibility in the future. Far future. She was so lost in thought, and sinking closer to sleep, that she almost didn't hear his next comment. "Why not?" she asked dreamily, smiling now. "I mean, it's not like anything can stop us from."

"I know a place not far from here. I will take you, the kitchen is stocked and you can stay there as long as you like." Saya said referring to her old house that might be a little dusty but would be just fine. She took him to the barn and whistled for Deuce as he rushes out and stops infront of her. "Hey pretty boy."

Sam's smile broadened. "Thank you, Miss..." he began, waiting for her to tell him her name. He glanced at the horse. "What a beautiful stallion," he complimented, stroking the animal's nose.

Deuce snorts and snapps at his hand. Saya laughs and mounts, "You are going to have to work to earn the knowledge of my name." She said and winked at him knowing his game. "I suggest you find a horse."

Sam shrugged. "Fair enough," he said simply, his handsome face calm and collected as he searched for a horse. A huge black stallio caught his eye and he attempted to mount bareback, but slipped off the other side. He landed perfectly crouched on his feet, chuckling at himself. "I haven't spent much time with horses," he admitted.

Saya laughs and turns Deuce and begins to get him to walk, "better hurry pretty boy, I wait for no man." Saya said with a smirk as Deuce jumps a fence getting excited about going outside.

Sam tried again and saved himself by grabbing a fistful of mane. He followed the girl silently, not willing to give up any information.

Saya smiles recognizing the over grown path to her old home. "Almost home huh old boy?" She asked Deuce as he snorted and and trotted ready to be back at the home he had known since being a colt. "Let's go!" She whispered as Deuce launtched himself forward knowing the path well.
