Nodding as Derek suggested about working from upstairs, he followed after the boy as he dashed towards the stairs. What an adventurous and interesting boy. Ari would have done something similar, planning to start from up to down. He liked being able to know every space and make sure he had covered everything. So Derek's plan was great to him. Trying to keep pace with him, Ari couldn't help but giggle slightly. He quite liked this boy so far, even if it was very hyper and never seemed to stop moving. Derek was kind. A good first impression. "Ja. I was born here in the United States, but my family decided to take a trip to Germany when I was a few months old. So I grew up there." The boy blushed as he related this and added, "You will have to excuse me. I do often change between German and English." After saying that, he climbed the stairs, gawking at everything. This was going to be a very nice place to stay in. His thoughts drifted to the other people that would be staying here. After exploring, maybe he would get to know some of them. Or at least learn their names. Ah, but he had said that he would go to the basement with Derek to do video games with that Kody boy. Perhaps after that. Or tomorrow. Eventually he would meet everyone, so perhaps it was not something to worry about. "You are very active." Ari noted to Derek with a warm smile.

Del stood up and walked out of the room, passing a girl who looked familiar. She was bored of being there so she decided to go have a look around see if any interesting people are around. She found some stairs leading down stairs and made her way down them. She skipped every other step and jumped to the bottom, with a thud. She looked around and saw a boy playing video games. She looked at the screen to see what it was, but it wasn't MW3. She looked around again and saw a girl, and made her way to her."Hey!"She said in a cheerful voice.

Derek glanced over at Ari. He felt already quite fond of him, though he'd harldy known him for a few minutes. Ari was nice, personable. And very open and friendly. It was rare for guys to be like that. Like how Derek was, and now how Derek knew Ari was. Friendly, cheerful, happy, filled with emotions. A lot of Derek's straight guy friends only wanted to get girls into bed with them, which Derek found quite gross. He felt he needed to get to know someone before doing....anything like that with them. Boy or girl didn't matter to Derek. Like he always said if someone commented on him being bisexual, 'love is love.'

"Man, that's so chill! I've never been anywhere outside the United States, ever. And I doubt I ill. I hardly have enough money to pay rent. And I can't speak any other languages, either." He said. Hopefully, if he became better friends with Ari, the boy might teach Derek some german. Hopefully. He checked all the rooms upstairs, poking his head in just to glance around. That done, he turned to head back downstairs. "Eh, it's cool. It'll help me learn German." He said briskly, brushing off the apology. He liked hearing the different language, how the syllables clashed together and made different sounds than English.

"Alright, let's head down to the basement." He said quickly, blundering down the stairs and light feet and racing towards the basement door. Jeez, he certaintly had enough energy. After playing video games, Derek intended to explore outside as well. Ha! And maybe a snowball fight wuold be needed. He always loved snowball fights. Derek turned to glance back up the stairs to wait for Ari, while at the same time calling out to Kody. "Hey man, me and Ari were gonna come play some video games. Is that cool with you?"

Nia had been in a little trance. Just staring at the T.V.s screen. Focused on Kody blasting these monsters heads off. The sound of another female voice made her jump. When she looked around she saw a rather pretty girl saying 'hey.' "Hi!" She looked back at Kody, then got up and walked over to the girl. The bottle of Jack still in a firm hold in her hand. "Good to see another girl." Taking a swig, she smiled. Leaning slightly against one of the poles at the bottom of the stairs, she kept smiling. "How long have you been here?"
