Tanner tightened his hood straps, before grabbing his JanSport backpack and swinging one strap over his masculine, broad shoulder. With a slight sigh, he saluted his house and exited, making sure to lock the door behind him. Not a single thought fluttered through his closed mind as he carelessly wandered the streets, not even sure where he was heading. However, he couldn't get lost... it was pretty impossible, for Tanner knew these streets like the back of his hand. Eventually, he headed into town, and towards one of the roads were there was a row of cool stores. Grinning, he headed into factorie, one of his most favourite shops. A brand new, fashionable pair of shoes would definitely do him good- especially since these shoes were capable of falling apart. Finding a nice pair of teal vans, he tried them on- perfect. He grabbed a red pair (just in case), before heading to the counter. After paying for everything, he stuffed his new shoes in his bag and headed out of the shop, a slight bounce in his step. For some strange reason, he always felt happier after buying stuff. It was quite weird, but he didn't really bother himself about it.

Tanner walked across the street, heading to Starbucks. He wasn't a very big fan of coffee, but he could always just get a hot chocolate. Shrugging at the thought, he entered the shop to be greeting by a little twinkle of the bell. Grinning, he headed to the counter, asking for his favoured drink. After coughing up a few stray coins, Tanner found a seat near the back of the shop and sat himself down.

The girl rode her skateboard quickly down the sidewalk. Doing a few tricks here and there she finally came to Starbucks. Popping her skateboard up to come to a stop the blond oiled the board up and opened the door. Walking into the shop the overwhelming smell of coffee filled her nose. It was a good smell. She pulled out her wallet and ordered a small white chocolate mocha. Paying for the coffee she got her change and walked over to a table, but she noticed Tanner. A small smile grew on her face and she walked over and sat down. "Hey, Tanner." She said happily.

Tanner grinned, seeing Kitty. Although they were just friend, he did have a slight crush on her. However, being slightly shy, he wasn't planning on admitting it for a while. He'd have to pluck up some courage first, and hopefully get over his fear of rejection- though obviously, being the slightly pessimistic person Tanner was, he doubted he'd ever get over it. "Hi, Kitty," he replied in a soft voice, before stuffing his hands in his pockets shyly. "How've you been?" he asked kindly, wanting to strike up some conversation. Tanner really despised awkward silences or tensions, and he definitely wasn't planning to have you with anyone- especially Kitty- any time soon.

The girl smiled. "I have been great." She said her cheeks a little rosey. "Hey, I was wondering if you weren't doing anything today, would you like to go do something today?" Kitty asked. Sipping her coffee slowly once it cooled down a little. Okay. Maybe Kitty had a crush on Tanner. I mean he is always so sweet and kind towards Kitty. They always get along, but you never know. Kitty braided her hair quickly and looked at Tanner with the slightest smile plastered across her freckled face.

(Oh my god. My posts are terribly short and I apologize. My day is busy so I try to post as much as I can within two minutes. Sorry.)

Tanner listened, smiling as she spoke. As soon as Kitty finished her sentence, he grinned. He noticed the slight change of colour on her freckly cheeks. As she spoke a second time, he casually shrugged. "Sure!" he replied, unable to hide the excitement in his voice. "Do you have anywhere in mind?" he asked, leaning back in his chair slightly. His coffee sat, quite ignored and abandoned, on the table. He had forgotten all about it as soon as he saw Kitty walk in. In fact, he had pretty much forgotten about everything that occupied his mind- not that he was unhappy about it, though. He was quite content with having just Kitty keeping his brain busy.

{{ Just realized that sounds a little weird... eh, oh well. -.- And I don't really mind short posts, I don't have much muse today, but I guess I'm doing alright. I'm sure no one else will mind either. ^.^ Just a heads up- I will disappear soon, since I'm going to the mall with me friend in half an hour or so.

Sitting with her hands around the warm coffee cup she looked at Tanner with her stormy green eyes. "I was thinking like a movie or something like that." Kitty said then sipped her coffee. "Unless you have an idea. I would gladly listen." She said smiling with a slight laugh in her voice. Talking to Tanner always made Kitty's day. Even though being the talkaholic she is Kitty most the tone was the one talking.

(That's sounds fun. I love going to the mall. ^^)

Tanner grinned. The movies... he liked that idea. Nodding, he leaned back and grabbed a newspaper from a nearby table, which somebody seemed to have forgotten to take home with them. He flicked towards the back of the paper, before skimming through the films and the times. He slid the paper over to Kitty slowly, before slowly taking his drink and taking a sip. Ugh... there was coffee in his hot chocolate. Sighing slightly, he continued to take sips and gulps. It would be silly to waste it. Putting his drink back down (which was now slightly cold), he looked up at kitty, eyes shining slightly. "What would you like to see?" he asked casually, leaning back in his chair again. he folded his hands behind his head, finding the position most comfortable. He wasn't very fussy over movies- he was bound to fall asleep or distract himself with food anyway, so he simply allowed Kitty to pick. Tanner would be fine with which ever decision she made.

Scanning through the movies she came to one. "Does Oz the Great and Powerful sound ok?" Kitty asked reading through the rest of the movies that are out.
