Ingo woke up, she couldn't get any sleep because it was her birthday tommorow ((OOC Has a night passsed since she went to sleep or not)), she always felt sad on birthdays, she had no-oone to celebrate with, she got up and walked around deck hoping there would be somoene she could talk to about a birthday celebration, she had wanted one for ages but when you're homeless there's no such thing as a party.

[Oh, god, can you imagine? "Happy Birthday!" And in the background, the Maiden is a ball of fire.]

Milo had been passing by the cabins when he heard Ella say "...and he is worth it," but didn't have the slightest idea what she was talking about. So he went into his own cabin and shut the door, climbing into his hammock with the ease of long practice. He took one look out the porthole at the night sky, then closed his eyes and attempted to sleep.

Ella had completely ignored Milo when he had walked by, but now she felt bad. She planned on talkingbto him later.

Patric came back in the house with his siblings, who trooped off in a tired line to bed. He placed his tri-corner hat back on his head and said to Diena and Alexa, "You should be getting back to the docks. Since it's dark out, I'll escort you there myself. The streets aren't safe at night for anyone, much less two- ahem- ladies such as yourselves." One might have gotten the feeling that the 'ahem' covered an embarrassed compliment.

"Thank you for having us." Alexa said to Patrick's mom. She held open the door for Diena and Patrick.

Patric went through and motioned for the girls to follow him, picking up a quarterstaff that leaned against the door-frame.

"Patrick. Would you like to be part of the crew on the Maiden?" Alexa asked, knowing he would fit in. She followed him out the door.

Patric gripped the staff tighter in excitement, but he knew his place. Turning slightly so he could see Alexa, he said politely, "I have to take care of my family, miss. My pa..." he coughed quietly, then said, "He died at sea a couple of years back. Ma tells people he's still alive, because she wouldn't be able to keep the shop without his name on the contract since I'm not old enough yet to sign it myself."

"Well you will be greatly missed." Alexa said, bowing to him, then following once more.
