Angelica sat forward and rested her chin in her palms. "Uh, yeah actually, I just moved from Delaware. I'm a freshman here, I am guessing you're not?" She smiled. An older guy, she also liked those.
Xavier ran his hands through his hair and adjusted his glasses. Her took his algebra study guide out of his satchel and sat it on the table. He'd already eaten his apple, and now it was time to study. He felt bad for the girl sitting diagonal across from him. A not-so-book-smart cheerleader had just given her the loser sign. Someday he hoped he'd grow a pair and tell those jerks to f'off, but for now he buried his reality into math and letters.

Serenity almost gasped and growled at the same time. Her fists clenched and she gritted her teeth. A fire seemed to burn in her eyes, even if she knew that would happen either way. She officially hated everyone at that table and she would plot her revenge against them. For now she just got up, got some napkins, and wiped the milk out of her hair, even though she knew it might smell . . .
