A cloud of white smoke escaped the pale coral lips of a brunet and dissolved within the air. The birds were chirping all around, a breeze tumbled through the area, and a train's whistle could be heard in the distance; it was more than soothing to the guy who lay on top of an old building in town. With two more drags, he flicked the cancer stick over the ledge. It would surely be someone's bad day if it had landed on them; bad for the person but hilarious for Kaycie.
He blew the smoke out, waiting for the fog of white to clear so the view of the sky was available. Now, the brown-eyed cutie's vision was filled with the marvelous sky - crisp blue including the milky white clouds. It stretched far and wide, reaching for eternity. Of course the sky would stop short when it met its cousin space. But, for a second, Kaycie was enjoying himself; taking serenity in what laying on a roof could offer. Alas, good things must come to an end. Kace pulled himself up and walked over to the ledge then he sat on it, his legs dangling in the air. He propped both hands onto the side and peered down. Kace was only about thirty feet up, the most damage would be a few broken bones. However, Kaycie wasn't here to jump; he was just expanding his view on the town.

She hugged her pillow, staring at the empty red wall in front of her. The expression she wore was blank, but inside her head several thoughts pestered her. What to do today? What book to read? Which video game to get? Should she even bother to get dressed? What to eat for breakfast? The comfort of her bed could be compared to a flock of sheep, why leave? How many licks did it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? What time was it? At the last question, Aybrum sat up in her bed, running her fingers through the rat nest she called 'hair'. Her chocolate eyes located her phone and her hands fumbled with trying to get it to turn on. Oh, it was nearly noon - oversleeping was a nice hobby to have.
After getting dressed into black skinny jeans and a black shirt with a wolf printed on it that hung off her shoulders, Aybrum briefly combed her hair. She couldn't even be bothered with straightening it. Heading out the house door, the dark haired girl grabbed an orange. Soon enough, Aybrum found herself to be sitting under a tree at the park and digging her nails into the fruit. “I forgot, I suck at peeling these things,” she mumbled, setting the orange on her lap and picking at the grass. Within minutes, Ay had built an impressive pile of grass blades - this certainly couldn't be healthy for the thriving park.

The song lasted for what seemed like hours, before it ended. Jasmine sighed and placed her ipod back into her pocket, and got up. She moved through the small park silently. People were every where, and it seemed she wasn't going to get through. Finally she found the way out of the small park.
She made her way out of the park and down the street. Once again she decided to play her game of 'look for the interesting people.' Boredom quickly hit her though. Her eyes caught sight of a small coffee shop not far from where she was at.
"Hmm.....coffee, or no coffee." she said to herself as she moved closer to the shop.
Her hands grazed the small tables that sat outside of the small shop. It was cool to the touch, so she decided quickly.
Jasmine walked into the coffee shop and ordered a small cup of French vanilla. After it was finished she handed them the money and moved outside to the small table. There she sat down in the metal chair, and sipped her coffee. Her eyes danced around as she looked at the people who had passed by. All of them seemed rather busy, and all of them seemed rather dull. Well, all except for the blue poodle lady. She seemed happy, and pleasant.
Hey, you should talk to her. She seems like an interesting person to talk to. she thought to herself, but quickly discarded it and kept sipping her coffee.

Summer walked along the sidewalk quietly. She shoved her hands into her jacket pockets and kept her head as low as possible; she didn't want to be seen. She was honestly very shy; she hated people in general..At school everyone always made a big fuss about her, either with drama, boys, or just making up lies. Ever since she decided to leave school, she switched to a new one. This one she didn't really quite fit in with the rest; she didn't mind at all though. She pulled her wavy blonde hair back behind her ears. She flinched a little because she got her second piercing last night at the mall. She was wearing the big golden hoops that her best friend had gotten her, which honestly wasn't too bright of an idea. Her earlobes were throbbing with pain. Her boots shuffled against each other from time to time as she waddled down the sidewalk as innocently and as subtle as possible.

Carter happily skipped to the park, with her iPod on shuffle and her eyes focused on her destination. Her house was not far from the park, it was actually just one street away. She looked around and saw the coffee shop that she always went to before she went to the park. She opened the door and went right in to get in line. She waited her turn to order, once she got up to the counter she ordered an iced chai. Carter went out the door and started to walk to the park until she saw Jasmine. She smiled at her "Hey Jasmine" she didnt consider themselves friends, but she knew her so she decided to be friendly and say hi.

Jasmine glanced up from her coffee to see Carter.
"Hi, Carter." she responded with a small smile. Jasmine really didn't know much about Carter, but she has seen her around.
She took another sip of her coffee as she thought for a moment. "How you doing today?" she asked politely.
Although Jasmine really isn't friends with her, she thought it would be nice to ask her how her day was, since Carter was the first to say hi. She also plastered a small smile on her face, trying to look as nice and kind as possible.

I love living on my own, but a small corner of my heart will always remain back home with my mum and dad. My sister only lives a couple doors over, so I visit her whenever."

I'm not too good at that yet, but for now I'm down with singing, strumming my guitar, and doing a bit of DJing."

Carter smiled at Jasmine "Fine, actually just heading over to the park." she said looking over towards the park.
She took a sip of her chai and looked back towards Jasmine. "And you?" Carter asked, still being friendly towards
her besides the fact that they barely knew each other. After the small conversation was over Carter would go to
the park and sit down to enjoy her day. Which she enjoyed doing, walking to and from the park and seeing people
she knew from school.

After finishing up her ice cream and discarding her trash, Mara then left from the place to continue her walk around the down town area. As she walked about, her eyes casually glanced at a few of the people passing by her. Some looking like interesting people to talk to, and others not so welcoming. Scratching that idea - she continued on until she found herself near the music store. "Suppose I could use a few more CDs so I can add more music to my iPod." She simply stated to herself, entering the place then taking a look around to find any CDs that caught her interest.

"Good." she responded with a small nod.
Jasmine could feel a small tension between each other. She knew very well that Carter wanted this conversation to end soon. Honestly, so did Jasmine. It wasn't because Jasmine didn't like Carter, it was just because she didn't know her, and wasn't her friend.
"Well....I can see you are busy." she smiled lightly as she stood up and took one last sip of her coffee. "Maybe I will see you around town."
