Buzz. It was Aiden's silver flip phone vibrating; someone sent him a text. Aiden slowly got up to retrieve the silver piece of aluminium. As he flipped it open, he wasn't really surprised to see that it was Reese. Slowly reading the text, he took a moment to think what he wanted to do. A grin slowly curled upon his lips, coffee did sound great since it was his favourite drink. How nice of Reese to pay attention to what he liked.

to Reese: Sure. I'll be at your place to pick you up in around an hour...probably a little over an hour. See you soon.

As he finished writing the text. He tried to remember what Reese liked to drink. What was it? Fruit Juice? Lemonade? Water? He was sure it was at least something milk-free...Too bad he couldn't remember what it was, but he remembered that she told him what she liked at one time in their doomed relationship. Whatever, he brushed the thought away, and killed a good twenty minutes just laying on the couch. Once Aiden got up, he walked to his younger brother, Chris's room.

Quietly opening the door, Aiden scanned around the room looking for something to throw at Chris. The room was terribly messy which gave Aiden many options on what to throw at the sixteen-year-old. He quickly settled on picking a pillow, heavy for it's size, it was the perfect object to throw accurately and to hit the sleeping boy hard enough to wake him up. Aiden aimed quickly and threw the pillow with unnecessary power. It was a 'perfect' hit; a direct shot at the poor guy's face. Good thing Chris was a fairly heavy sleeper, the pillow quickly bounced off his face and landed on the floor. Aiden watched his brother stir a little before slowly opening his eyes. "Get up. Gotta make some breakfast for grandma or else I'm gonna do it myself." Aiden loudly whispered. The guy quickly got up, of course Chris was very fond of his grandmother; there wasn't much not to like her. Giving Chris a little time to wake up, Aiden dashed through the hallway, showered, brushed his teeth, and changed quickly. Though he had plenty of time to make breakfast for himself, his grandmother, and eat, he could probably get a tasty little pastry at the coffee shop. Walking back down the hallway once again, he saw Chris making himself a monstrously large bowl of cereal. Funny. As Aiden watched Chris pour the milk in his bowl, there wasn't even near enough milk for the cereal. Lucky him there was another carton of milk in the fridge; his mom always bought a little extra of everything.

Aiden opened the fridge and looked around at the contents. He decided to make the eggs while Chris would make the oatmeal. He grabbed three brown eggs from the fridge before getting to work on those eggs. Chris was right behind him, making the oatmeal. Quickly grabbing a pan, a little oil, and a little wooden spoon, Aiden quickly separated the egg whites and yolks before throwing the egg whites into the hot pan. Added with a little salt and pepper, the entire egg-dish was made rather quickly. Quickly dumping the eggs on a square shaped plate, he set the dish on a little blue tray. The oatmeal had also just been finished, hot and ready straight from the microwave, Chris had it easy. In less than a minute, the meal was finished and sat on the little blue tray complete with a clear glass of orange juice. Perfect, breakfast was made and the aroma of the delicious eggs and oatmeal filled the kitchen and living room. When Chris was done making oatmeal, he grabbed an Arizona Iced Tea from the fridge to eat with his cereal, a bit of an odd choice for breakfast, but oh well. An Arizona Iced Tea! It finally hit Aiden, that's the drink Reese favoured over anything else. Finally feeling accomplished that he remembered, Aiden slipped his wallet and keys in his jacket pocket before deciding to just make a piece of toast for himself before leaving his apartment. He slipped a piece of bread in the toaster and in no time, Aiden made himself a piece of toast. As Aiden opened the door, he heard the sweet voice of his grandmother thanking Chris for a lovely breakfast before he closed the apartment door and exited outside in the cold winter air.

Outside, he quickly ate his toast, got on his motorcycle and was off to Reese's place. Aiden had finished his piece of slightly buttery bread so quickly; it felt as if he didn't eat anything. His throat just slightly burned from the dry bread and warmth. In around thirteen minutes, he was there at Reese's place. Walking up the stairs, he quickly found her door number and knocked. There, he casually stood in front of the door, waiting for Reese to open it
