Personality: I'm a care-free, laid back kind of guy. I don't like to get overly worked up about things, but at the same time I can be pretty emotional. I guess you could say I have the Irish attitude, since I can get a bit angry, sometimes throw a tantrum, emphasis on sometimes. But I mostly just want to have a good laugh and have fun. I've been known to cry when a girl does, touching 'eh? Besides that I'm well-known for being heard before seen and my laugh is pretty well known. The fans even came up with the acronym lln; laugh like Niall, which kinda stings a little.
History: I was born and raised in Mullingar, County Westmeath in Ireland. I've always been into music and I've dreamed of becoming an artist some day. I learned to play the guitar was I was 12, cool thing 'bout that is that I learned to play right handed when I'm normally a lefty. I played football for a while too. April 15, 2010 is a day that I'll never forget, the day I auditioned for X Factor. Ever since then everything has changed, mostly for the good thankfully. But even with all these amazing things happening to me and the lads, I still miss my mates and my family back home. Not to mention Ireland too.



Likes: Nandos my favourite restaurant, food, playing me 'tar,
singing, hanging out with the lads and my mates, meeting the fans, chillin', being myself, my eyes.
Dislikes: Haters, not having any food in my house, guys who are jerks to their girlfriends,
the rest of my body, being left out by rude fans.
Fears: "Birds. Weird I know."
