Rose woke up late, like always, and had to rush to take care of the four animals around her house. Chinchilla named Fluffy, a kitten named Ginger, a dog named Chavez, and a rather large bird named Soren. They lived just out of town, on a farm with a multitude of outside animals. Horses, cows, chickens, and the accasional peacock around the yard, when they felt like it. She loved her grandmother and her grandmother's place, even though she didn't have much free time due to the barn chores. She was actually planning a small bonfire party for the seniors since it was their last year, in a week. she would start handing out invitations today.
She owned a run down black truck that most girls wouldn't be caught dead in, but she claimed it was reliable and could drive in any weather, which was a must around these parts. She arrived in time to catch the last of Skye's preformance, and pulling her bag up on her shoulder a bit more, she approached from behind. "Amazing preformance, like always Skye," she said with a warm smile. Even wth no makeup, her amazingly blue eyes stood out against her tan face, framed by dark, long lashes. "Do any of the new seniors look interesting? I have to say, I missed them. Late again." She moved with the stream of people, slipping in the door towards the auditorium near Skye.

It took Jace a moment to realize that the boy was actually talking to him, something most people preferred not to do. HE raised his eyebrows but it was hardly noticable behind his sun glasses, studying the boy near him with an odd expression- a mix of distast and sizing him up. "Well, maybe sometimes I don't think you on my a** every day is real necisary either," he shot back in a cool tone, devoid of almost all emotions, adding a sort of laugh at the end. "I don't need some kid telling me how to talk to people."
And, there was Jace's attitude that drove people away in the multitude. He wasn't normally so snappish, but he had had a bit too much to drink the night before, lost a little too much money, and didn't qiute feel like dealing with people today.

Wow, a waspish retort. Nathan certainly didn't see that coming. He forced down the urge to punch the guy. That wasn't why he had come over to speak. Widening his smirk into a broad grin, Nathan said, "Oh, I'm sorry, son. I didn't realize your mommy is still teaching you socially acceptable etiquette. Tell me, is it because of your dense skull or your mother's sheer inability ti control her own son that makes your demeanor so begging of heavenly retribution? That means karma, dear, before you ask. Consider it a freebie fact of the day."

Jace's expression hardened into a scowl, and he flipped his sunglasses onto the top of his head. He practically growled, and turned on heel, shoving the boy through the few people- luckily they were close to the edge, shoving him into a locker rather roughly, not quite hard enough to really hurt though.
Some people claimed Jace had an anger problem, and he couldn't disagree. It wasn't that he couldn't control it, rather, he didnt want to. "You think you're so smart, don't you?" he snapped, eyes blazing. "I've got the same grades as you, so don't be calling Me stupid. And, if you'd like to set the example for all the other id*ots that are going to mess with me this year, go ahead. I am just itching to mess somebodies pretty face up... Might as well be yours." He took a slight step hack, just waiting. He didn't care if he got in trouble for fighting already in the year, he only had towels with it one more year anyway...
