Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Milo scrubbed the greasy yellow stains out of his clothes and hung them up to dry, then set on his bunk and stared out through the porthole at the ocean. For a second he thought he heard crying from the captain's quarters, but neither Liza nor Alexa was on board, so he was probably just imagining things.

[Falls]

"Nothing." Ella whispered. She tucked her hair behind her ears. She was calmer now that she knew it was Tess, and not Milo.

Tess dropped her hand and shook her head slightly. "That's a lie,"

"I know." Ella said. She straightened up and looked at Tess.

Milo got to his feet and wandered towards the kitchen, wondering if there was anything edible left. As he came up on deck, he heard voices from the captain's quarters. The door was partially open, so he stood outside to eavesdrop.

"What did you want with the captain?" Ella said, sniffling. She felt on the verge of tears again, and you could hear it in her voice.

"Uh, nothing?" said Milo, poking his head around the door. "I heard voices and was trying to eavesdrop." Then he noticed her tears. "Why are you crying?"

"I wasnt talking to you Milo. And it's none of your business why I'm crying." Ella said. She stood up. "See ya Tess." She walked past Milo and headed for her cabin, quite slowly.

"Oh, okay." said Milo, obviously put out by her cold manner. "Are you okay, at least?" he asked, following her to the crew's quarters. "Does your head still hurt?"

"I'm fine, thank you very much." Ella said, rather harshly. She kept walking.

"Oh, alright," said Milo, his voice colder and more guarded than it had been before. "I'll leave you alone, then." He turned and scaled the rigging, ending up in the crow's nest as he looked over the water, and the sunset.

Patric finished his supper and stood to help his mother wash dishes as the other children scrambled to play outdoors before they were called in for bedtime.
