I looked at glen and saw him push away his food. I was sat across from him, but I moved myself to be next to him. I gently took his hand on mine. I kissed the side of his head and rubbed his hand as I leaned assist him. "it's nothing, babe. Nothing bad, nothing to worry about. I promise you." I smiled reassuringly. i was worried, but I didn't let that show. I was also very happy, and I let that show. "come on, you gotta eat. And so do I." I pulled my plate closer and began to eat.

He took a deep breath and nodded, smiling faintly but not eating. He watched her for a moment, happy that he had a place where he was wanted for once, it was nice. He took another minute trying to force himself into it before finally pulling back the plate and nibbling on some of the food for her sake.

I sighed and was starting to give in to him. I stood up and smiled at him. "fiiinnne. You can have your presents early. Two are under the tree currently. I have to get the other one." I winked and turned on my heels, heading down the tiny hall and into my bedroom. The two presents were hints to the main present I had planned. The first heels two nursing bottles and milk formula, the other box had had a small booties for a 1-month old. I waited until he had opened both presents before I walked out to him, a ribbon and a vote around my lower stomach area. I bit my lip nervously and tears were just on the verge of falling. "m-merry.. Christmas.. ?" I waited a minute before the teats did begin to fall. "I.. I understand if you w-want to leave, and you can, if you want. I-I'm not stopping you. It's completely y-your choice.." I quoted ye tears away from my eyes and waited for him to speak, our tell, whatever he did, I waited.

He opened the gifts, confused at first until she walked back out and his eyes widened. "You mean y-your..." He sat there, too dumbfounded to speak at first, then he found he couldn't stop smiling and he got up, going right over and wrapping her in a protective hug. "Oh Lexa, I would never, will never leave you." He murmured, stroking a hand down her hair reassuringly. He was nervously excited and totally unprepared. He was definitely out of his depth on this one but he already knew he didn't want to be that kind of guy who up and left when he was most needed. "Yes, Merry Christmas indeed." He said with a hesitant laugh. He looked worried, but in a good way, he was glad it wasn't something else like someone she loved passed away etc. "I love you Lexa." He said quietly, looking down at her and kissing her forehead.

I hugged him tightly back and nuzzled my neck into the crook of his, keeping back the tears of joy. "I love you too, Glen." I pulled away after a few minutes and smiled at him. My voice was a little short and my eyes a tiny bit red. "s-so what now, G-Glen? I-I- We need jobs, or at least one of us does. I've been looking but.. Nothing yet.." I must've sounded so nervous and rushing when I should be calm and excited and celebrating with Glen. Not worrying and raising my anxiety levels. But I did put on a smile and looked at Glen. I attacked him with a hug. I had to stand on my tip toes to reach his shoulders.

Daniel hadn't seem to notice the other male's discomfort when he had grabbed his arm. "That's true! But my grandma knows some English, so you should be good."
