Pearl didn't slow down. She was frightened and shaking from fear. As she ran flashbacks happened in her mind clouded her vision. She tipped over a branch and just laid there upset

Hayden sighed and kissed her head lightly. He lifted her up in his arms and carried her back to the house. Hayden gently kicked open the door careful not to do any damage. He carried Pearl into the house and frowned when he saw Tristan and Cali talking. He bumped Tristan hard as he carried Pearl through the living room and into her room. Hayden laid her down on the bed and sat beside her on the bed. "Pearl?"
