18 | Location; Park | With; No one | Current Style; ⚓⚓⚓

Taking the usual stroll through the park, Mara was on her way to the ice cream spot that she usually hung out with some friends - or just by herself in this case. With the amount of people in the park today, it was quite surprising that everyone is now suddenly in the park when most days its just plain empty with no sense of life moving about it seemed, besides the few few birds that would gather everyday. As she neared the ice cream parlor, Mara took out her phone to see if anyone had texted her by any chance while she was walking, but the screen just showed there was zero messages. With a soft sigh as she pushed her phone back into her small purse, Mara entered the parlor and waited in line till it reached her turn to order. "Hi, can I get a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and sprinkles?" She smiled at the gentleman, handing him the money before taking the ice cream to an empty table and began to chow down on her frozen treat.

A small smile grew on Jasmines lips as she walked down the sidewalk. Her eyes danced around as she looked at the people she had passed by. Some were interesting, others, well...plain. It seemed like today though that more interesting people were out and about. She spotted at least several people with neon hair dyes, and at least one other person who dyed their poodles fur.
A small laugh escaped her once she made it over to the park.
People these days she thought happily. They're just plain weird.
Jasmine strolled through the park. It did seem unusually busy, and full. This didn't bother her much though. Maybe the park was holding a fundraiser or something.
Soon, Jasmine found a bench and she sat upon it. Slowly her hands crept down into her pockets and she pulled out her ipod. The sliver coating shined brightly in the sun. The screen of the ipod lit up as she pushed the small button on the bottom. A picture of her old friend appeared. She smiled up at Jasmine happily, making her miss her friend even more. After several minutes she unlocked the ipod and began to listen to one of her favorite songs. The Fray sang in her ears about how to save a life.
