I saw his face loose color as he read a text and he quickly got up to use the bathroom.
"hey, are you alr-"
I couldn't finish because he had left. I sat there stunned and I grew concerned. His phone was still sitting on the table, and I was tempted to look at the text. But I knew that if I did I would be betraying his trust, so I just played Fruit Ninja on my phone while I waited for him to get back.

He splashed water on his face and took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He knew Shezza was concerned about him, and he didnt want her to be. Get yourself together, man. he thought as he gripped the sink. He was shaking and felt weak. He splashed more water on himself and lunged for a stall, barely making it to the toilet as he became sick. He stood up shakily and rinsed his mouth out before sighing and made his way back to the table.

He reached the table and saw Shezza playing fruit ninja on her phone. He offered her a weak smile as he sat down across from her and said, "S-sorry about that. I hope I didnt worry you too much."
