Sam gave Oceana a smile and opened her mouth to reply when the warning bell for lunch rang. Quickly grabbing her stuff, Sam said, "Hey, nice talking to you - I'll see you in the dorms later!"
She arrived at lunch a little later than usual, but managed to get to her table and sit down. A few other people were there, other populars she would wave to in the hallway but no one she was good friends with. Cleo seemed to be elsewhere; perhaps making up a test or homework. Sam set down her lunch tray and took a sip of Coke. Hopefully Cleo wasn't going to be gone the whole period.

Once he arrived in the cafeteria, Blake promptly sat down with a group of athletes at a table, since there really weren't too many people around campus that he knew.

Viper slouched to his next class, sitting at a random desk in the classroom. Propping his feet on the desk, he closed his eyes and released a sigh. Class was boring, usually.

After they shook hands, Luke let his hand drop back down to his side. He nodded a little, a silent sigh of relief escaping his breath, as he replied, "Ah, okay. Good." A small, crooked smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He then glanced down at his black Vans for a moment and ran a hand through his styled, blond hair as he awkwardly shifted his weight from one foot to the other. "Uh, so, are you new, here, too, or have you been here a while?" he asked in order to prevent an awkward silence from ensuing, shifting his gaze back over to Lilian.

Hearing a voice, Sam glanced up to see if it was Cleo. No, it was just a group of boys talking at the athletes table; but one looked a little familiar. Wasn't one of the boys Blake? Inwardly, she laughed. Cleo wasn't here to make doe eyes at her and the boy, so it wouldn't be nearly as awkward. Take your time on the test Cleo, Sam silently implored her friend.
