Reagan shifted to a laying position and pillowed her head with her hands. She listened to Phill's humming (which she had to admit, wasn't bad) and slowly drifted to sleep.

The next morning, Phill woke up in the passenger seat. "Maracas..." he muttered, smiling. he sat up and looked out the window to see they were parked in a gas station. Maras was walking out of one of those mini stores with a olastic bag in his hand. He saw Phill and smiled. he opened the van doors and woke Reagen and Audry.

Reagan's eyes fluttered open to see Marcas holding out a plastic bag to she and Audry. She sat up sleepily. "Is'at...food?" Marcas nodded and Reagan grabbed the bag. "Thank you!" She opened the plastic package and stared at it. It was a Reese's Pieces cup. She didn't want to be rude, but she had do say something. "Um, Marcas?" Reagan asked cautiously. "Hm?" "Well, I'm allergic to nuts, and yeah..." She bit her bottom lip and felt her stomach growl angrily. She had't eaten anything since lunch on the first day of school.

"that's ok, there's no nuts in here anyways." he said smiling. "thanks for letting me know though."

"But," Reagan protested, "It's a peanut butter cup." She held up the package. "Sorry, I feel like a butt. I make stuff harder, don't I?"

Marcas looked at her with kindness in his eyes. "you don't make anything harder. To a real kidnapper you'd be just a worthless add-on, but we're glad you're here." he said, smiling warmly.

Eternity sniffed the bag Reagan was holding. She grabbed it with her jaws and tugged on it, trying to get Reagan to let it go.

"Thanks," Reagan said. "And not trying to sound rude, but...what am I gonna eat?" She looked down at her stomach as it growled again hungrily. "Sorry." Reagan looked at Eternity. "Stop it, girl! I know!" She pat Eternity's head to tell her that she wasn't mad at her.
