Kale took her smaller hand in his to seal the deal. This was either going to be good or completely bad. However, Kale was rather happy since his mother had hoped he would get involved with others and take a few risks which could help him a bit. He sure hoped this would turn out good, not only for himself but also for Stephanie.

((Shall we do a time skip now? No sense in carrying this conversation much further between Stephanie and Kale, then that way we can start some more things in the roleplay, since I think there was going to be a rider meeting or something?))

Kasey grabbed her tack and set it down on the saddle rack beside her stall. She quickly pulled on her rainboots, and walked outside, and was greeted at the fence by Calypso. She unlatched the paddock gate and clipped on her lead rope onto his halter and led him out of the paddock, into the barn, and hooked him up to the crossties. "You've had a long week off of work Cal, time to get back into the routine of things." and with that she opened up her grooming kit and pulled out her curry comb, and began to brush his coat clean. After a while she had finally finished grooming his coat clean and picking all the dirt out of his hooves, and she stood back in admiration of how neat her horse looked. Smiling, she walked over to her stall and picked up her saddlepad, half-pad, and saddle, and gently placed it on Calypso's back, and fastened the girth to the billets. Picking up her bridle she undid the clasps on the crossties and held the bit at her horses mouth until he opened it and she gently eased the bit it, then doing up all the straps and flicking her reins over his head. "Let's go boy" she said, grinning.

Ally decided to leave the field and let Gemini gallop harmlessly around with Ester and Axel, and walked back up the path with Gemini's head collar and lead rope at hands grip. The walk was quiet, but didn't seem that long, because her surroundings were so familiar. But at the sound of another horses gained speed, Ally looked around and saw Primrose galloping down to the gate, and joining them along the railing. Gemini, bringing out her inner racehorse, broke out into a faster gallop, literally tearing up the soil that came in contact with her hooves. Ally watched only m=for a moment, noticing Primrose coming back to a trot, going up to the gate, where she saw Ashton standing. She decided to be a bit socialable. Almost at the end of the new riders first day, and she couldn't help but notice that many of them were keeping to themselves, and that was no fun. So, Ally walked up to Ashton and leaned on the gate beside him as Prim crunched away on her given treat. "Hello again" she said with a smile, before looking back over at Primrose, and offered the pretty chestnut mare a softly closed hand to sniff, allowing her to get her sent, and know she was no threat. Ally did it with most horses, it was often the first step, with horses with human experience, in becoming familiar with each other. Before Ashton could reply to her greeting, she spoke again, giving a cmment she couldn't hold back. "Your horse is gorgeous. And she seems to really like you" Oh course, Ally knew Prim was his, seeing as she was new here, and so was he. Plus, she just walked right up to him. It was something Gemini didn't always do, but other then catching her, the thoroughbred showed nothing but a bond with her owner. Looking back down the fields, she noticed that Gemini was still at a gallop, showing incredible speed at this stage. Both Ester and Axel had given up on her.

Ashton turned when he heard the familiar voice, smiling a bit when he saw Ally.

Before he coule reply to her greeting, he heard her give a compliment to Primrose, and felt his pride and ego inflate a bit.

He was known to take great pride in his steed.

"Why thank you." He replied, moving his long, black bangs out of the way of his blue eyes.

"I agree, she's smart too. Has a good head on her shoulders." He added, stroking the mare's copper neck as she sniffed Ally's hand when it was offered.

"Your horse is pretty good looking too. Gemini, right?" He asked, watching as Prim nickered and turned to go interact with the other horses again, cantering off towards the other fence.

Kasey stared outside the barn at the people standing at the paddock fence watching a stunning horse galloping around. She smiled and waved, but quickly put her hand down, it appeared they hadn't noticed her and she thought that she probably looked silly. She led Calypso up to the mounting block and stuck her foot in the stirrup, swinging her leg over and gently sitting on her horses back. Calypso tossed her head but did and she was told and moved forward when Kasey nudged her with her leg. Once she had warmed up for a lap or two, she pushed her heels down, gathered her reins, and asked Calypso to trot. "C'mon girl, get going" she spoke softly when she didn't respond to her aids, and nudged her a little harder with her heel. "Seriously, don't make me get my spurs out, because I will". With that she nudged her a little harder and Calypso moved into a nice collected trot, strutting around the ring.

Ally looked down, following Prim's chestnut figure as it neared the fence, moving Ally's glances to Gemini as both mares raced over and back against the railing, their speed as a perfect match, neither winning each length by more the a nose, before turning and getting a head start, where the second horse would catch up through a falter in stride. Gemini.
Ally then nodded, not taking her eyes off the horses. "Yeah, it's Gemini.." and then she took in the compliment. "And thanks...she's really making things better for herself...considering" she said, trailing off in sort of a hushed tone as she finished her wording quietly. The thoughts of what Gemini came from hardly crossed her mind anymore. It was a thought that so many people would never have even thought of, seeing a horse fit for anything, one who's jet black coat only shone out tinted in glossy brown when the sun came down over it, like now. Her tail, and her show-pulled mane, both followed her, their roots, as if ribbons in amazing winds. The very horse some had seen, jumping great heights under a saddle, a great bond through her and her owner. All could see none of her past, not until it shone through her eyes through any little thing that would bring them thoughts back...

Ally had made a simple decision last night before heading back up to he cabin. She felt the weather was too nice, so she rugged both Gemini and Cosmo, and let both horses graze in a small paddock that underlay her bedroom window, right behind the Cabin. This morning, she was woken by the sun creeping through her curtains, her bedroom a little brighten then dim, as the curtains left out little light. On well-bright days, the sun often shone through them. She didn't know what time it was, not until she was up, and dressing , trying to think of what to do with her hair, slightly waved from last nights shower. That was when she looked at her watch, seeing it was only reaching 8:15am. She crossed her bedroom and pulled back each end of the curtains, looking out to see two horses, one black in a red cooler, Gemini, and then Cosmo, who grazed not far off her, cloaked in blue. She grabbed a jacket, slipped it on as she left her room, bringing up the zip half way. She pulled on her muck boots at the door and grabbed a head collar and lead rope, as well as an old worn out bridle from the hook just inside the door. The walk to the field gladly only took little time, and of course, Gemini give a good five minutes before decided to allow herself to be caught. It took Ally two attempts at first, both resulting in her galloping fly past Cosmo, in a freedom strike. So eventually, Ally resorted to sitting cross legged in the grass, and waited until Gemini just walked up to her, which didn't take too long. She could easily stand up and slip on the bridle after that, and Cosmo was much easier, the complete opposite of the cheeky black mare Ally now led by a grip to the reins. Cosmo just walked up to her, and stood quietly while he was haltered. At that point, both horses were just led out of the field, so the gate could e easily closed, just as Alfie decided to make an appearance. She scratched the cats lower chin, and began to wonder what Jess had in stock for today. Ally used the fencing to swing up onto Gemini's back, and she rode the mare bareback, with only a rug, and simply led Cosmo, who seemed oddly laid back today. Alfie trailed slightly ahead, ready to appear in the barn, marking Ally's arrival.

Emily awoke to the sound of Dixie scratching at her door. She grumbled as she sluggishly stood and shuffled across her room to open the door a little so the Rottie could get in. She trudged back to her bed and climbed back in, not he ready to face the world. She had just fallen back to sleep with Dixie at the end of he bed, when jessica came and called her "Emily wake up!" she said, cheerfully, as she made her way back down stairs. Emily rolled over and covered her head up, not a real big fan of being woken up before she saw it fit to get up by herself. About thirty minutes later, Emiky finally emerged from her room, making her way down to the kitchen were Jessica had her breakfast made. She poured a glass of OJ and began eating. After she had finnished she went back up stairs getting dressed in a pair of faded blue jeans and a t-shirt, and her old boots. She began making her way to the barn to open things up and get a move on, on the chores that had to be done that morning.
