((Oh dear, I'm sorry guys for not replying, first it was exams and coursework but it's become just plain ignorance now, I'll recap myself quickly then in a minute I'll edit this with a post c:))
Betty apologised to the nurse who were millign around, shocked expressions on each and every one of their faces, she dashe dout of the infirmary after Indigo. She wasn't going to try and get her to come back, she knew that she wasn't strong enough of a high enough rank to do that, but she'd at least go with her, to save any more unnecessary injuries. Sonja hurried out of the infirmary, taking anything she thought may come in handy in an emergency. As she stepped out onto the streets she noticed the small fuigure of a boy running off into the distance. Rodney was going to tell the others, bless the little boy. Though Betty had been temporarily distracted she was now dashing at full pelt after the captain.
Rodney was puffing and panting but still running, he was trying to gain his bretah back, but it was difficult when you were sprinting at full pelt, "Indigo - Is - Awake!" he cried in a repepetitive loop, taking many a gap for breath, he was yelling it as he neared the farmhouse, hoping someone would hear him.

Melody heard the shout from outside and ran to the door, not wanting Rodney to see Sonja before the crew had cleaned her up. Poor kid, the woman had been so kind to him. Indigo hadn't wanted a young boy on the ship, but Sonja had seen the kind of condition he was living in and brought him aboard against orders. The woman exited the house and slammed the door, standing in front of it nervously. "That's wonderful!" she called, trying quickly to wipe blood off of her forearm. How was she supposed to tell him...?
"God," breathed Indigo. She would have hung her head, except the gentle rocking of the ship and the fact that she was missing an arm meant that she would probably throw herself off balance in doing so. "I think it would be best if I came," she added after a moment, not overlooking the fact that Jack had said you might as well come to the funeral. Obviously he wasn't treating her with the respect due to his captain, but neither would she if her captain had lost an arm, been unconscious for three days, and failed to even be nearby while a crewmember perished. She wouldn't be surprised if the crew left her here in Ireland and sailed off. Ingo would make a good captain, even if she was a bit young. Sonja would be a good adviser- she stopped herself. Sonja was dead. What would the crew do if they left Indigo behind? She was one of the oldest people on the ship; without her, the average age of the crew would drop... she paused, thinking about this. She knew that at some point she had known how to do this sort of math, but now the numbers were sliding around in her head and she didn't quite know what to do with them. Not the point! The crew needed a strong captain. She would have to be that strong captain, even if it was only for a day or two. "No sense in standing about, then," she said, and turned back to the rope ladder that hung down the side of the ship. Gritting her teeth- she hadn't thought about climbing down again when she climbed up- Indigo hauled herself back over the edge and started inching down, praying to a God she didn't really believe in to get her down safely.

Jack watched as his captain moved towards the railing and disappeared over the edge. The cook winced as he noticed that she was going slow due to losing an arm, and bit his lip in worry.
He swung his leg over the side, pausing to make sure that the heavy bag was safely on his shoulder then scaled down the ship as fast as he could without using the ropes; he didn't want to knock them and the captain falling. Digging his fangers into the cracks and securing his footing, he was soon as low as he could go without jumping. Hanging off with one arm, he wrapped the other around the back and let go.

((Sorry. I. Poofed.))
Ryder glanced over from where he had been standing, starring out at nothing, and spotted Rodeny and Melody. A small smirked crossed his face and he strode over to the boy. "Aye, that is good news." He gave Melody a "I'll handle it" look and put a hand on Rodeny's shoulder. "How abou' you an' me go and make sure our cap'n is... em, alright?" He asked, looking down at the boy, his dirty blonde hair falling slightly over his eyes. He gave his usual smirk and looked back at Melody.

"Thanks, mate," said Melody quietly, clapping Ryder on the shoulder as she turned to go back into the farmhouse. Since she was about a head taller than him she had to reach up quite a bit to do it, but she had to thank him somehow. She shut the door behind her quickly, just in case Rodney tried to slip by and get a look. She had mostly finished getting Sonja cleaned up, but the slit in her throat was still gruesome to look at. "I guess we'll trade, after all," said Melody quietly, taking the scarf from around her waist with an air of gravity that she hardly ever applied to anything. She had taken Sonja's cross necklace when they had found the woman; now she wrapped her own scarf around the former navigator's neck to hide the wound. Her hair had been washed carefully, but Melody hadn't done that because she was vomiting out back due to the bits of bone and brain she had seen in Sonja's hair. All they needed now was for Jack to return with Sonja's clean clothing and whatever else he thought proper to bury with her.

Jack felt like he was gliding. At least, that was what he thought it felt like; a pirate had never glided through the air before, according to his memory. This was only hampered by the fact that he had a heavy bag on his shoulder that caused him to pitch to one side. And it didn't help his landing either. Because of it, instead of doing a neat forwards roll and standing unharmed, he ended up starting in a forwards roll, then moving to the right, his ribs pressing down on the lumpy back. It rather hurt.
When he did stop, he was flat on his stomach. Grumbling under his breath about hard objects becoming his worst enemy, he lifted his head, allowing several strands of black-blue hair to fall in front of his silver eyes. No one was there. No one had seen him except the captain. Good.
Shifting his weight, careful on his bruised ribs, he managed to press the palms of his hands against the cool and wet stone beneath him and himself to all fours, then stand from there. Once in an upright posture, he wrapped his free arm around his middle in a vain effort to relieve himself of some pain then turned around to look at Indigo, determained to catch her should she fall.

Rodney looked up at Ryder, breathing heavily, "But - I've - only just - got here!" he said, panting for breath and giving Ryder the puppy eyes. Rodney, though most of his treks were completely irrelevant and unuseful, had been running about a lot today, and he was tired. He just wanted to talk to Sonja or Ingo or Melody for a while, he didn't care who. As he was moved away by Ryder the young boy asked, "What's happened, why is Melody sad?" she may be a good actress but Rodney could see through that much. His little eyes looked worried and his face seemed considerably less hapyp than it had when he told everyone about the captain. He was twiddling his thumbs nervously, wanting to go back to his family, the crew of course, he had no recollection of his true family. He wanted to make sure everything wa sok, and though he may seem to young to understand, he wanted to try.

Ryder hesitated for a moment then looked down at the young boy. "I don' know what ye're talkin' 'bout, lad." he muttered. "Which way is the cap'n then?" He asked quickly, not giving time for the boy to protest his answer.
Ryder definitely didn't want to be the one to spill the news to Rodney. No, he would leave that job for someone else. Someone, who would know what to say, how to explain it. And someone who could deal with the boy later. Not that Ryder didn't like Rodney, he knew it would just be pretty hard on him... Sonja being the one who let him into the crew. He glanced around the land, then down at the boy again.

Indigo slipped just once, but luckily she was able to catch herself before she fell. When she was a few feet from the ground she jumped and landed just a bit less awkwardly than Jack had; ankle twanging painfully, she turned to the ship's cook. "Lead on, bucko," she said, pretending for her own sake that nothing was wrong. She was fine, yes. Fine. Missing an arm, but she would be alright. But in the back of her mind, there was a tiny little voice that sounded like her mum. Who are you kidding, Veronica Prudence Miller? The crew can't never have a one-armed captain. They'd look weak, and you know that none of 'em can afford to do that. Try as she might to ignore the words, you can't keep out something that's already inside your head.

Jack smiled at her, securing the bag on his shoulder. I should have brought to bags. He remarked silently towards how heavy the bag actually was. It seemed that he had packed much more than he should have, but he was determained to let the dead navigator have as many possessions as he could; there would be no use for them on the ship, and he'd be plagued with guilt if he didn't lay her to rest with them.
He began chewing on his bottom lip again, knowing that if he didn't stop he'd bite through and it would bleed. But it was his only way of relieving stress in the last few days. Shaking himself, he knew he had to brace Indigo for Sonja's dead body. "Cap'n, I warn you that it isn't the best sight," He began. "I was physically sick when I saw her."
