Jaime was cradling their daughter in her arms and she looked up with a tired smile as Kat walked in. "I showed her the list of names we came up with, though how Kat knew it was a she is a mystery."

Dylan grabbed a bottle of water before moving to stand in the doorway, watching Stephanie with the dogs.

[Small Child]

"Ok," he muttered. "I'm going to go get something to eat, Kat. I'll talk about this later," he warned, then smiled.
Kat giggled and nodded, dashing forward to hold her baby neice. "Pwease?!" she asked, cooing to the bub.

[magpie~]

Jaime laughed at Kat's enthusiasm but she gently passed Lilly over to her. "Don't drop her." she warned, half jokingly.

[Small Child]

"No way!" she cried, then pulled the material away form the child's face. Her heart melted, and she cooed. "Oooh..." she whispered, and gently began a little back and forth bouncing.

Jaime smiled as she leaned back against the head of the bed and closed her eyes for a moment, wishing that she could get some sleep.

[Small Child]

"I'm going to eat you up!" she babbled to the little girl. "Um num num!"

"Don't eat my baby!" Jaime laughed as she opened her eyes again, watching how excited Kat was with a smile.

[Small Child]

"But she would be delicioush!" she cooed, rubbing her nose on the baby's stomach. "Yes, yes you would Lils, you so would. Om nom!"

Jaime giggled at them both. "As much as she may be, you still can't eat her." She laughed. "You'd have overprotective dad to deal with."

[Small Child]

She pretended to grumble, stick clutching the little baby. "Aww, but she's so sweet. Like her mother," she said after some thought, and handed the little girl over.
