Emerald noticed Liam seemed slightly distracted. She followed his gaze towards the end of the alley where Tessa and Sonja were. She sighed in relief. She thought the gunshot had just been her ears popping when she fell. She also had thought the arguing was just in her head, as if the fall had made her crazy. She giggled to herself. "What's going on with them?" she asked Liam.

"Tessa-Rose shot her pistol at the ground," explained Liam. "That's what spooked your horse and made you fall. Sonja's tellin' her off for it, although I dunno if it'll do any good. Both o' them are stubborn as mules."

Emerald raised her eyebrows in shock. "That's what spooked my horse?" she questioned, a slight amount of anger biting through her tone. "She made my horse throw me and run off? She could of killed me and the horse!" she exclaimed, her voice getting louder. "Who knows where the poor baby has gone? Or if he's even okay?! The horse could have sprained something! And I could of cracked my head open on this cobblestone road!"

Personality:
Blake is the loner type, preferring to stick to himself despite enjoying the company of others. He's unpredictable and mysterious, giving him a kind of 'bad boy' image but to add to that, he's unatainable. Incapabable of being a flirt, this boy has natural charm but he doesn't use it very often as he doesn't like to get a lot of attention from girls. But, stay away from him if he's in a bad mood. When like that, Blake can be short tempered, violent and distant.
But this isn't all him. Most of the time, Blake is pretty goofy and does mess around a lot, as any young man does. Then there's his serious side. And finally, his passionate edge. He wants to fall in love, desperately. Yet he's pretty scared about just throwing his heart out there to get trampled over. This boy just hopes he'll find the right girl someday.

Blake is rather good looking, in a rugged, mysterious kind of way. He stands at about 5ft 11" and has olive coloured skin, proof that he spends a lot of time in the sun. He has a rather toned body but he doesn't show it off, quite the contrary. He doesn't like to get any attention from girls. In fact, he goes out of his way to avoid girls. His hair is a natural black colour and he has a habit of running his hand through his hair to make it stick up a bit. Blake's eyes are a soft chocolate brown colour and his gaze sometimes gives you the impression that you're 'lost in his eyes'.
History:
Orphaned at a young age, Blake spent most of his childhood stealing food for himself and running errands for money. He eventually became a pirate as a teenager and has pretty much sailed the seven seas since.
Family: Deceased.
Crush: None. So far.
Strengths:
Swordfighting.
Agility.
Wit.
Staying on the good side of people. If he wants to.
Weaknesses:
His pride.
His temper.
He has a habit of saying the wrong thing.
He hates guns.

He likes the rain. Unless, it's a storm.
Likes sailing. Obviously.
Likes to read. Surprisingly, he can.
And he sometimes hums or sings when he works. An old habit.

Doesn't like it when people stick their noses in his business.
Doesn't like it when people try to work him out. He prefers to stay... mysterious.

(Lol. Well the crew has landed in a little village on the coast of Ireland I think it is. They just got through a really bad storm that damaged the ship, and before that a battle with another ship that wounded a lot of the crew. They worked up a deal with a local farmer in which they must work in the fields as long as they stay in the village in exchange for a place to stay and medical care. So right now the crew is just gathered in an alley. Sonja is arguing with Tessa Rose about being depressed or something of the sort; Betty, Liam, Emerald, and Jack are also in the alley but they are trying to help Emerald because she got injured when she fell off a horse.)

[To be more exact, Tessa-Rose shot at the ground because she was angry about something (the reasoning wasn't really clear to me) which spooked Emerald's horse, which caused her to fall. Sonja's telling her off for it.]

Tessa-Rose glared at Sonja, pulling out her pistol once more. She wasn't pointing it at her, however. She was holding it up to the light, inspecting it. She did this for a god few moments before lowering it, holding it by her side tightly.
"Yer not me mother, an' yer not in charge o' me. I'll be doin' wha'e'er the bleedin' 'ell I want with me pistol, e'en if tha' means shootin' at cobbles. Unless yer've noticed, we don't 'ave no bleedin' enemies 'ere!" Tessa retorted, her face a mask of fury. "I didn't know Emerald was ridin' a 'orse. If I did, maybe I wouldn't 'ave shooted."

"We have enemies everywhere!" snarled Sonja, not liking Tessa-Rose's attitude any more than she liked what she was saying. "I don't care so much about the shootin'- as long as ye don't kill or frighten the hell out o' nobody, I'm fine with ye firin' off any which way. Do what ye want. And then, when the town calls the Navy on us because ye broke the agreement we had wi' them, and all of us dance the hangman's jig, then maybe ye'll have a bit of spare time to think about the other people in yer crew!" Sonja was done scolding, and she was done arguing, and that was her final word. Turning her back on her fellow pirate, the navigator stalked over the rest of the crew and growled, "Ship out. We need ter reach th' farm by nightfall. Once we git there, Betty can tend to yer scrapes and bumps and whatnot. Rodney," she turned to the young boy. "Ye're ta stay in th' infirmary wi' the cap'n. Anythin' at all happens an' ye come fetch Ingo or me at once, fast as ye can."
