As Ellis finished his food he heard the counslor tell everyone to leave their dogs outside while they are. Ellis got up from his spot as Thor followed closely behind. He put his plate and cup where everyone else did and turned around. He walked to the door and followed everyone else to the cabin. He walked inside and over to his bed
He unpacked quickly and changed onto wrangled jeans, cowboy boots, and a sleeveless flannel. He reached over and grabbed a hold of his cowboy hat and put it on. He sat down on his bed as Thor jumped up sitting beside him.

Oliver opened the door to the cabin, finding Ellis already there. Kartoffel,
the playful dog that she was, walked over to Thor and sniffed him,
bowing into a play pose. Oliver chuckled. "Heh, sorry about her. She
always wants to play." He pulled on a different shirt for riding and
some appropriate boots. He was already wearing jeans that would be
fine for horseback riding. "Kartoffel!" he called. She turned her head
and whined. She just wanted to play. He sighed, and turned to Ellis.
"Hey, I'm Oliver." He grabbed his old clothes and put them in the bin
for dirty laundry at the corner of the cabin by the bathroom. "Nice
hat. Used to have one like it when I was younger." Oliver wasn't very
good with small talk, but at least he was trying. "You can blame that
rascal over there for it's absence." He pointed to his dog, Kartoffel.

"Thanks for handling that!" she called after KJ as he was leaving. She
turned to the girls still in the mess hall. "You gals meet me at the cabin
when you finish cleaning up, OK?" Alex turned and left.
When she arrived at the cabin, two girls were already there and in riding
gear. "Looks like you're ready. You have about 23 minutes left to unpack
whatever hasn't been already. Do both of you have horses, or will you be
assigned one?"

Ellis smiled and chuckeld a bit. Thor jumped up from hai sitting postion and wagged his tail, he jumped off the bed landing next to the other dog. Ellis smiled, Thor never really had other dogs to play with so its nice that he actually had one now. "no need ta apologize, I'm Ellis." he looked down to Thor as he paused, "and thats Thor." Ellis had a very clear southern accent as he spoke. He looked up at Oliver and then adjusted his hat a bit. "Yeah..I got this one a few years ago, when I first got Thor he tore my old one up, so i know what yer sayin." he laughed and got up from his sitring position on the bed.

"Yeah, dogs can be a pain sometimes, but I love 'em." he paused.
"I think I better get to the stables before we're late. I need to
get my horse, Cappuccino properly saddled up. You gonna come
with?" He stood, waiting for an answer and watching the dogs.

Ellis smiled and nodded and bit at Oliver. "I dont see why not." He walked to the door and opened it up for Oliver and the dogs. "Cmom Thor ya can play in the stables, Generals in there." Thor p er ked up as soon as he heard Generals name and jumped over Kartoffel and sprinted out the door.

Kartoffel chased after Thor at full speed. Oliver chuckled. "Is
General your horse? I like that name." He walked next to Ellis
as they made for the stables. Oliver wondered if Aspen was at
the stables already. He had only talked to these two people
for a few minutes, but he felt like they could be the kind of
friends Oliver wanted to have. The honest, good type of friend.
Maybe camp wouldn't be so bad after all.

"yeah, he was actually a wild horse, I was riding on my old horse governor and I found him, where i live horses can sometimes get shot and well he was just laying next ta his mom, I kinda figured he was gone too but as soon as he heard me I saw his head poke up, so I took him ina nd trained him, best horse ive ever had."

As aspen was getting ready she looked at the girl "Oh umm hello there!" She says as she trips getting a boot on. Bear quickly runs over to her licking her face. Aspen laughed pushing him away picking herself up after she got the boot on. "Well i'm gonna head out to the stables now." Her and bear quickly left the cabin speed walking to the stables. She had missed beau so much she was so excited to finally see him, she arrived at the stables and walked past stalls looking at everyone's horses admiring how gorgeous they are then she heard a horse neigh recognizing it was beau she hopped over to him hugging him then kissing and petting him "Hello my handsome boy." Bear was excited seeing his best friend Aspen had to calm him down.

Julia looked up from her small chat to look at Alex. She shook her head as she mentioned being assigned a horse. "No, I have my girl Frappuccino. I won't be replacing her any time soon," she said with a grin. She turned back to Aspen. "Well, I'll see you there I guess." Julia whistled for Zeus and he came running, his red and white fur billowing. Julia ran all the way to the stables. She was eager to see her horse again. When she reached the stable that she had put Frappuccino in, she found that two people were already there. She shrugged and walked in from the opposite end, quickly reaching her horse's stall. Frappuccino was a tan and white gypsy horse, beautiful for that matter. Julia stroked her soft muzzle and whispered comforting and friendly words. She in response snorted happily and began to circle around in her stall. Julia smiled and unlatched the gate, pulling reins off of a nearby hook, and throwing them gently around Frappuccino. She guided her carefully and dropped the ropes as soon as Frappuccino was in the walkway of the stables. Julia trotted over to where the saddles hung and began to strap her horse up, preparing for the ride. The other two hadn't said anything yet, and personally, she hoped they didn't. She wasn't too great at socializing, but the whole point of coming to this place was to make some friends.

Oliver saw Aspen and her dog, Bear. Kartoffel raced ahead and playfully
pounced on Bear. Oliver turned to Ellis. "See you later, nice meeting
you, Ellis!" he called as he ran after Kartoffel. He arrived panting.
Kartoffel was one fast pup. He looked up and saw Aspen. "Oh, hey!
Sorry about Kartoffel, she's pretty crazy." He stood up and Kartoffel
turned, hearing her name. He bent down and pat Bear on the head.
Oliver looked up at Aspen's horse.'Wow, your horse is beautiful. What's
his name?" Cappuccino, who was in the next stall over, whinnied as if
offended. "Yeah, yeah, your pretty too boy." Oliver said as he stroked
his horse's face.
