Nitro is a good horse; he listens and obeys...to experienced riders. With newbies, he's stubborn as a mule..he likes to give people a hard time, despite this he is Luella's favorite horse. This horse's gate is most defiantly cantering. He loves to canter, but is most of the time a lazy butt and just walks around. But, when he gets into a canter he never wants to stop! Nitro is 5 1/2 years old, and will be fully-sized at 7. He is a paint, and stands at 14 hands even.
Lighter is a melow horse. Good for beginners and if you just want a good calming ride. He does what he is told, and nothing else..but, sometimes he'll be a bit lazy when it comes to just starting off on a lesson or trail ride. He loves to eat, and when he is on the trails will chomp at any branch in sight. He is 15 years old, and 15.6 hands. His favorite gate is a walk, because he's that much of a lazy fart.
Ramses is truly a free spirit. He won't listen to almost anyone, with the exception of the ranch owners, Luella and a few others he trusts. He was sent from an abusive owner to the ranch and he now does not trust easily. He will shy away from ones he doesn't know, but, if you manage to get on him, he is stubborn as hell. He'll center when you tell him to trot, walk when you tell him to canter. He loves to be brushed, and is only 3 at the time. He will be 14.3 hands when he is fully grown.
Apache is the only mare in the group. Short tempered and quite mean, she only listens to the people she trusts and is 'connected' with. it's just e way she is. she loves to trot, and jump. She is also very skilled in western pleasure and barrel racing. standing at 15 hands even, she is 7 years old and just stopped growing. She and Captain seem to get along very well.
Captain is an Australian shepherd german shepherd mix from New Zeland. He is extremely stupid and derpy, but very loyal and quite strong. he gets along with the horses, apache the most and tends to get himself in trouble allot. He does stupid things, but that's what people love about him. He is huge-- massive, I mean. He stands at 6.6 hands and is about 4 years old.
