Kali peeked over the top of the stairs to the second level. She smiled to herself when she didn't see anyone, then kept walking. The girl still had her hand on the hilt of her sword once she got to the stairs to the main deck. She still heard two other girls onboard, but it sounded like they'd be off the ship soon, like the rest of the crew. Kali smiled to herself again, excited about having the whole ship to herself while she explored it. She was still soaking wet after the storm, but her clothes would dry quicker once she got to the main deck.

Emerald shrugged. "Yea I guess that's true." she replied. Things could be worse, so she was glad for what they had at the moment. She grabbed the rope and eagerly scaled down after Melody. A few times she went a little too fast and the rope skinned her fingers a little. She winced and tried going slower.

[Welcome back! Okay, let's see. There was a huge storm after the battle with Calico Jack (I think you were here for that), which drove the Maiden rather off course. They've ended up somewhere on the coast of Ireland. A mast spar had broken during the storm, and it swung around, clonked Liam on the head, and threw him overboard. He's got hypothermia, but he'll be alright. Indigo's in pretty bad shape. The Maiden ran aground, but the crew frightened a boy named Gannet into letting them see the chief of the village in order to get medical care for the crew. Melody and Emerald stayed behind to see how much of the ship needs repairs. They're on their way to the village now. Oh, and we have a new roleplayer with us. Her character is a stowaway on the ship.]
Melody slowed her pace just enough to let Emerald catch up, but she didn't stop running. Not until they reached the village, where she found most of the crew milling around a long building with smoke coming out of a chimney in the top. "That's the town hall," Sonja explained when Melody gave her a questioning glance. "Liam and Indigo have been taken to a medic, but the leader's still trying to decide what to do with us. Normally they kill pirates, you see."

Ingo was twiddling her thumbs nervously. She shuddered at the though of killing pirates, she just hoped the members of the town would see sense before it was too late. She was so scared, sixteen was not very old for a girl to be in this position, and she was afraid out of her mind, like she ahd been so much the past few days. She hated the thought of people dying, it was all so natural in battle, but like this, well then it was just plain nerve-wracking.
Rodney had settled himself on a bench, talking to a village girl, who had a huge black fringe cloaking her eyes, if anyone had been able to see them, they'd soon realise she was rather afraid of this pirate boy. She was younger than Rodney by a year or two and didn't like the ide aof all the fighting and the killing. Of course Rodney was elborating for the so called benefit of his listener, but she was rather afraid of this boy. She had never understood pirates.
Betty stood unspeaking, listening to the constant gabble of Rodney, recounting adventures of which he had not taken part. he was a good story-teller. Imaginative, and very elaborative, maybe not so truthful all of the time.

Sonja was not unduly worried at the thought of being attacked or even executed by these townspeople, because if she could escape from a London prison than she would have no trouble getting out of here. She was more worried for her crew, particularly Rodney. And speaking of the young boy... The navigator glanced around and found him elaborating on things that had never happened to a young girl who seemed, well, terrified. Moving close to the young boy, she placed a long hand on his shoulder and muttered, "I think ye'll be wantin' to save yer fanciful stories for somebody who's not terrified of ye."

Rodney looked up at Sonja, the smiling falling of his face as if wiped clean. He frowned and nodded then waved his skinny little fingers to the girl, who scarpered as soon as she could. "She was nice," said Rodney, with another small smile. he didn't seem to notice the fact she was absolutely petrified of the very idea of pirates being in the town. She had rushed into a house, and the two upstairs windows had opened, two heads popping out and knocing on the windows next-door. The shutters were so close it wasn't hard, and by the time Rodney realisedwhat he had done, most of the townspeople were looking out their windows or doors to see the alleged pirates.
