"Really? I've transferred schools at least three times and I've never had any friends. I'm intimidating and different, and people don't like that. Anyway let's go. Its cold."

As Jeremy makes the drive from the campus of UHS to the cafe, his hand rests on the armrest, somehow finding Carly's. Acting like he's not paying attention, he "inadvertently" interlocks fingers with hers and smirks out of her sight. Before long, they get to their destination. He walks her inside with his arm around her again and when they sit down, they start chatting about random things, like how their days have gone and whatnot, waiting on their food. Eventually, once their food arrives, they enjoy their food and exchange glances at each other between bites, unbeknownst to the other, smiling each time. Finally, before each has their last bite, they finally lock eyes on one another. They smile at each other, then have their last bite. After the bill arrives, Jeremy looks at Carly once more, then tells her, "Carly, there's one thing that's been on my mind all day. Yes, it's been you, but not JUST you. I have a question for you, and I hope you say yes to it."
