Dunny nodded and strode on to the deck trying to look like he belonged. He began to scale the cargo netting until he reached the crows nest, which appeared to be occupied. The rope beneath his hands was rough and wet. The smell of the sea was strong in the air around him. He turned around with his back to the netting, he twisted his arms through and hung by his arms and supported the weight on his legs. He turned to scan the area, but the sea appeared calm and other than the ship following there wasn't much traffic.

"Is it all clear?" called Ingo, hoping it was, for she wold soon take the wheel from Sonja. She consulted her compass first though, everything was running smoothly for once.

Bree just smiled at Melody, "actually, I do have something to say." She said slyly, "but obviously, you don't want to know. I was going to ask if there was anything I could help with, but if you're not interested ..." Bree waved her hand in the air as she walked slowly across the deck to sit on the barrels the other side. "Then I won't help at all," of course, she was just joking. But Bree was bored and wanted to wind someone up, it probably wasn't wise to annoy Melody, but Bree was in a 'I'm really not bothered.' kind of mood.

Dunny looked down at her. "It seems to be so m'lady." The waves that were like his home was calm. He could just see a haze that could be a storm. he tried to see which it was. "there's a haze, land or a storm maybe." he informed her.

"Aye Aye Dunny,"she said with a nod. This information could be important, she jus thoped the haze was to be land , a storm would be fatal in these times.

Jack walked around the deck, he saw everyone was doing something. He sighed and decided he might as well make himself usefull and began swabbing the deck again.

Emerald yelped and jumped up from her seat as a seagull pecked at her head. She jumped around the crows nest trying to get it off. She sat back down, compleatly away now and kept lookout. She saw something in the distance. "haze!" she called down. Boy she would be introuble for sleeping.

" it's alright. I reported a while ago. Ingo put me as lookout." he told her craning his neck to look up at her. His arms were starring to ache from their akward position and the ropes digging into them. "do you mind if I join you? " he asked

"Actually, you're right," said Melody to Bree, drawing close to the younger girl with a smile on her face that showed off sharpened canines. "I don't care what you have to say. But, in case you haven't heard, there's a term on this ship for crewmembers who refuse to make themselves useful. We call them mutineers, and do you know what happens to mutineers? We hang them, and feed their carcasses to the sharks."

Sonja glanced over at the two young women, but didn't say anything. It was Melody's fault if she baited the girl into a fight- but maybe she should stop them, in case Bree got hurt? "Ingo," she said, to the first mate, "If there's to be a storm, you'd best take the wheel."

Bree hesitated for a moment, then smiled again, "nice." She said simply, "well then I guess I'd better make myself useful then, whatdya want me to do?" Bree drummed her fingers on one of the barrels, she'd wanted to annoy Melody for a little longer, but it looked like she wasn't joking around. Bree scanned the ship to see what everyone was doing, and then wondered what Melody would tell her to do.
