Maddie looked out the window when she saw a horse. She recognized Matt and called out the open pane, "Matt, up here!" she waved slightly to get his attention. Maddie jumped out onto the lower roof and slowly scooted down, she then hopped into the back of her father's pick-up and down onto the concrete, raising her hands like a gymnast and saying, "Ta-da!" she laughed and walked over to the paddock, whistling Cloud over. The speckled appaloosa reared and bolted, her ears flattened. Maddie sighed, rubbing her temples softly. "How's it going Matt?" she asked softly, her eyes closed
