"Yeah, I think so." Oceana's smile dropped, "I'm really sorry for knocking into ya, by the way... Gotta keep my eye on the road.." She said jokingly, gesturing to her eye. Readjusting her hold on her books.
"I'm just naturally a klutz I guess..." She shrugged, "My sister always said so 'least..." She bit at the dead skin on her lip after she spoke out of habit.
Goddangit, Oceana, STOP SOUNDING SO LAME! She scolded herself, letting a tired escape her tired.

Heading out of class, Raven filed into the hallway on her way to her second period class. Her first period was as boring as per usual, and she didn't get the normal snide comments about her style of fashion. As she proceeded down the long hallway, she bumped into a boy. In fear, she lowered her gaze and slid into the locker. "Sorry," she mumbled.

I walked through the hallway thinking about what video game to buy next. Alien or Destiny, I thought. I was too busy thinking, that I didn't notice a girl bump into me. "Whoops! It's fine! It was my fault to begin with anyways.", I said.

Brushing a strand of black hair out of her face, Raven glanced up at the boy with suspicious green eyes. He was a gamer; she could tell, but she wasn't sure whether he was really nice or not. "What's your name?" she asked curiously, quirking an eyebrow.

"Umm.. Carson.", I replied. Now, Alien or Destiny, I thought. I thought about what class I had next then suddenly remembered..."CRAP! MY HOMEWORK!", I yelled in alarm. I flipped through my textbook and sighed with relief when I finally found it.

Luke smiled and waved, "Bye, Hope! See you at lunch." He chuckled a little and looked at the ferret that clung to the black fabric that covered part of his arm. He started heading to his first class, then stopped and froze for a moment. Oh, right...they don't really allow pets in the school...he thought to himself and bit his lip. He glanced at G, wondering how he'd be able to hide the girl's pet during class. He tugged at his lip ring with his teeth as he thought.

Yelping in alarm, Raven scrambled backwards, clawing at the lockers with wide eyes. "F-found your homework?" she whispered, eyes still staring at the boy, unblinking and unmoving. "Nice to meet you, C-carson," she murmured, still unable to move, her black hair falling in waves over her face.
