Outlawed (Version 3)

Frank stayed up until the point Emerald left, he launched himself out the front of the cart, flinging off his cloak as he held his mace tightly and landed to the floor, taking out the soldier that had taunted him before with his mace, giving it one good swing and hitting the man in the guts, he died instantly. He then sprinted to Emeralds side "You okay?" he questioned breathlessly waiting for the others to attack.

Emerald nodded, reaching into the cart and pulling out her sword. "Of course." she replied, looking over and smiling before blocking an attack from another soldier. She quickly finished that one off, and soon more and more started to attack. Three came at her at once and Emerald jumped onto the cart, jumping down and slicing her sword, landing in a crouch and watching as three headless bodies fell to the floor. She smirked a little darkly, a gleam in her eye like the one her father used to get when he fought. Yeah, she was killing and injuring people. So what? She used to do this all the time, and it felt normal to her. Completely normal to chop people's heads off.

Jack growled as he saw Emerald slit the man's throat. Now they were really in a fix. With a quick movement he jumped into the back of the cart, knocking the other soldier down with a kick as he desperately searched for his sword. He opened every bag he could find quickly, tension building up inside him. Where was it? Suddenly a group of armed men entered the cart, moving towards him with mean grins. Jack narrowed his eyes and backed up against the wall, flashbacks of his dead family coming into his mind all at once and his hate of soldiers growing up to the point he could not resist the terrible anger boiling up inside him. With a shout, he seized Frank's mace, ignoring how heavy it was, and swung it at the men, who were slammed against the side of the cart violently. Jack dropped the weapon, not caring that he had just killed, and pulled one of the soldier' s swords out of it's scabbard, jumping down and moving towards where Emerald was, killing cold-bloodedly everything that came in his way.

(OH NO, i missed iiiittt! :O why is it that when i'm gone, i miss something fun!? DX oh well, i'll join in. :3)

Desmond looked over at Diana. "hide!" he said letting go of her and grabbing a sword. "don't leave me here!" Diana cried. Altair grabbed two daggers and looked at Desmond. "Are you insane?! you can't just leave her here!" Desmond scowled. "i'm not leaving tha cart until she finds a good place to hide." Diana tried to hide somewhere but one of the soldiers caught her hair. Diana screamed, struggling from his grip. Desmond immediately ran over to the soldier and stabbed him in the shoulder, and grabbing his hair. "LET HER GO!!!" He hissed, and the soldier had to let go of her hair. They glared at each other, as the soldier reached for a sword. Desmond held a tight grip on the sword and made the first move, trying to thrust the sword but the soldier kept parrying. Altair attacked one of the soldiers by pouncing onto his back and pinning the soldier on the ground. Diana looked over at some bows and arrows and grabbed them, wanting to help them. She ran outside and hid herself behind a tree, aiming at one soldier. Diamante desperately tried to go back into the cart, but a soldier grabbed her foot. "let me go!" she cried out, trying to get away by kicking him a couple of times. Diana aimed at the soldier that had Diamante and let go, hitting the soldier's back. She hid back behind the tree, whimpering. Diamante noticed the arrow and looked up, kicking the soldier's face as he let go, trying to find out who hit him. Diamante took this time to try to reach for a weapon. "not so fast, woman!" the soldier grabbed her wrist and pulled her off the driver's seat and pinned her to the ground. Diamante struggles. "let go!" Diana desperatly aimed for his face but kept shooting different places, like the shoulder, and one that almost hit Diamante. This proves that she still needed some pratice on archery. The soldier looked up and snarled, spotting Diana. Diana gasped and took another arrow. "get the girl!" he points at Diana. "No!!!" Diamante screamed, pushing him off. At this point, Diana didn't know wheither to run or to stay put.

Frank hit back as he was tackled by a guard, landing to the floor and aiming at the guards face with his fists, slightly angered by the fact his mace was by the cart. Frank quickly head butted the man with a resounding crack that meant he had broken a nose, but he'd paid for it, blood trickled down his face from a cut on his forehead. He sprinted to his weapon and picked it up acting out as soon as anyone came near, panting heavily. He then heard the screams of the guards to go after the small girl. Frank immediatly ran forward, shouldering a guard out the way and swiping at another. He raised his mace and threw it at the guard going for the little girl, it made a whooshing sound and an almighty crack as it penetrated the soldiers back. He fell instantly. Frank ran breathlessly and removed the weapon with some effort from the fallen foe and made his way over to the girl "Come with me" he said softly,well as softly as he could in his gruff voice and offered to pick her up to take her safely back to the wagon.
Meanwhile Diad was rearing and shying as bodies ran past him, tugging at his tie on the wagon and whinnying, ears flat back to his head as he lunged out at whoever ran past.

Jack heard the shouts of Diana and Diamante, and immediately noticed what had happened. Jumping up onto the driver' s seat, he slit the soldier's throat,a strange furious glimmer lighting his eyes as he nodded at Diamante and then rushed over to where the girl was, stabbing the closest soldier. As another one tried to grab her, Jack pushed him out the way and swung his sword around, killing the man. He then turned to Frank, and nodded. He had thought of making her climb up the tree, but he supposed Frank had it all under control. Suddenly Jack noticed that two soldiers had cornered him, and with a quick movement he was able to tackle one of them, and he chopped the other's head off with one blow. In another situation, this would have horrified him more than anything else, but a strange feeling had taken over him, and he killed without even thinking about it.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, came a blade from behind him, stabbing his shoulder. Jack let out a cry of pain as he bent over, gripping it as his shirt began getting stained with red. All he could feel was the sting of the sword as it pulled out of his shoulder, but he knew he could not just stay there. Groaning, he stood up and attacked another soldier furiously, his left arm hanging limply at his side.

Diana nodded and got up, looking at Frank, holding up her hands to be picked up, and she looked over at Jack and gasped as he was stabbed in the shoulder. "no!" she cried, running over to pick up a bow and an arrow to try to help Jack. Altair ran outside, with the daggers, and Desmond followed, dragging a dead soldier out of the cart. "where's Diana?" Desmond asked. Altair looked at him and growled. "you were suppose to watch her, idiot!" Diamante pinned down the soldier, trying to choke him, but was stabbed from behind. "ahh!!!" she screamed in pain and got off. "Diamante!" Altair ran over to her. The soldier tried to stab Altair but Desmond blocked the sword with his, and pushed him over. Altair picked Diamante up and ran back inside the cart. "Stay here-" "where else would i go!?" Diamante hissed. Then her eyes widen. "Diana... where's Diana!?" Altair shushed her. "i'll go get her!" he ran out of the cart.

Frank watched as Jack was stabbed and as the girl ran forward "No, leave it!" he said strictly, picking the girl up in one arm and carrying his mace in the other "If you want to help them you need to stay safe" he added as he ran forwards, a few soldiers running after him to which he threw his mace at, taking out two of them. He hurriedly got back to the cart and plonked the girl inside, noting another wounded inside "Take care of her" he told the girl before being tackled to the floor by the knight that was chasing. Frank tried to flip him onto his back but was getting caught up Inbetween the horses that were tied to the back of the cart, Diad included. Eventually he managed to grab his knife from his boot and sliced at the soldier, cutting up his face but getting a few stabs of his own into his arm and one to the ear of which made him cry out in pain. He needed to go help jack, emerald and the others but was stuck with this soldier.
