Indigo watched as Calico Jack's ship began to turn slightly, filled with smoking holes, as it were. He seemed about to retreat, so the captain yelled, "Don't let him get away! Haul off on the grappling hooks, hit him broadside before he can retreat! Move it, move-" Her next few words were drowned out by cannon fire, as the Kingston let loose a salvo and prepared another. Most of the cannonballs fell short or went long, since the ship was still moving, but three of them hit the Maiden. One fore, one amidships, and one aft. Indigo was lucky that the eight-pound ball of lead didn't kill her instantly when it struck, but then again, she was lucky she hadn't been standing a few more inches to the left. It caught her arm and the shoulder and sent her crashing to the deck, minus one left arm as the cannonball carried it over the side and into the water. Sharks came to the surface at the scent of blood, but finding nothing but meat scraps they soon dispersed again. Indigo was in a state of shock- she didn't feel any pain. "Keep fighting!" she screamed, trying to see past a hazy blur that had engulfed her vision. "Ingo! You- you're in- oh, bugger." The captain collapsed to the splintered deck, tri-cornered hat shifting to cover her face as she landed hard on her only remaining shoulder.

Emerald saw what happened to Indigo and her eyes went wide. She ran over to Indigo, jumping over debri piles, took off her jacket and wrapped it around her shoulder to try and stop the bleeding. "Jack, keep it up with the canons, I'll be right back!" she called over the noise. She coughed at the dust and debri as she lifted up Indigo. She half carried her half dragged her to the infirmary and set her down on a table.

Melody watched with wide, horrified eyes as Indigo was carried into the medicine bay, covering her mouth with her hands when she saw the bloodstained jacket around the captain's shoulder. "What happened?" she gasped quietly, glancing at Indigo's ashen and bloodied face. "Yeah, what indeed?" asked a voice groggily behind her, before coughing. "You shut up," replied Melody, and an aura of shock emanated from behind her. "Well, alright, then," said Sonja meekly, obviously not in the mood to fight. The ship rocked as another salvo of cannon fire slammed into it.

"Canon took off her arm. Make it stop bleeding, stitch it up something. If she loses anymore blood she's going to die." Emerald said. "I need to get back on deck," she started to say. Her emerald green eyes were determined. "I'm leaving it up to you." She left the rest unsaid and rushed back on deck, taking the stairs two at a time. She lit the fuse to her canon and smiled as it hit another one of their canons. "Jack! Don't just aim for any where on the boat, aim for their canons!" she called. A boat could do nothing from far away without a canon. She prepared another canon.

Rodney was now sitting in the corner, silent, something rare for this young chap. He was worried and scared, he thought he was big enough for battle, but when it came down to it, he was scared. He felt like a mouse confronted with a huge, grinning cat, or a young girl faced with the monster that live's in her dreams. He was terriffied and worried.

"Let me help," said Betty, not caring about protest now, this was her kttle of fish. She reached in to a few different pockets of her trench coat and cargo trousers, eventually finding a small med kit, it had everything she needed.

Ingo had fired a few cannons, one taking out one of the enemie's own cannons, the other falling short by a good way. "Emerald stop your chit chat, get firing," she yelled over the noise of battle cries and cannon fires. Neither ship was in good condition, yet the other ship seemed to be fairing worse. The crew seemed in a state ofhock, but the maiden hardly wasn't either.

Emerald lit the fuse, ducked, and covered her ears so the blast wouldn't stun her. She watched as it missed the canon itself but hit the crew. Close enough. She fired another and watched as it hit the hull of the boat. "Focus, Emerald, focus." she mumbled to herself. She fired another and smiled as it hit the canon. "There we go ,that's more like it." She tried to clear her mind of everything but the canon.

Personality: Dunny is extremely loyal to people he considers to be his friends. However he isn't quick to trust others, although he is very trust worthy himself. He tends to come across as sullen and stand-offish, due to his lack of friendliness and distrust of others. Some people consider him to be argumentative and a bit of a pedant, Really he just likes to know thinks exactly. Has a bit of an authority problem and enjoys giving the orders more than receiving them.
Description:Dunny is tall at five feet and four inches high. His figure is thin, lithe and wiry strong. His skin is clear and tanned, his face features slightly feminine , his eyes are grey and piercing. He often wears dull clothes often tan or brown, normally close fitting leather trousers and a sleeveless tunic also made from leather. In colder weather he wears a creamy coloured long sleeved top beneath it.
History: His mother died giving birth to him, and his father, a thief, raised him, an only child. He grew up as a thief and used to help his father in all of his criminal manifests. His father died with a noose round his neck and Dunny is a wanted criminal, on the run.
Family: Dead.
Crush: none... yet.
Strengths: Fighting, both physically and vocally. High pain thresh-hold. Very fit. stands up for his beliefs. Hard worker.
Weaknesses: Gets into trouble quite a lot. Has very few friends.
Likes and dislikes: Likes; Animals, working hard, being athletic. Dislikes; Being made fun of, slackers, authority.

"That's it Emerald, now a few more," called Ingo, then added, "Smartly too," because they really needed to get that ship to retreat or kill everyone on board. She fired another shot, fingers in ear, only just hitting their cannon. Unfortuneately for Ingo, a cannon ball was coming her way. She ran back, expecting the worse impact, the ball came flying and knocked her cannon, smashing it into piecees. With the jolt Ingo had fallen onto the floor, but she was up again as quickly as she could be.

Emerald started to aim at another canon as she saw what happened to Ingo's canon and growled. "F**k" she mumbled. Now the other ship had caught on to the whole destroying canons thing. She lit the fuse and stuck her fingers in her ears. It landed and injured the crew. Nothing to the canon. She quickly reloaded and aimed properly. She lit the fuse, again plugging her ears, and gave a small whoop as it landed on the canon. The other ship had five more canons on that one side still. She started to reload again and looked up. Her eyes went wide and she ducked, close to the canon as possible. She curled into a ball as the canon ball struck the boat and debri went flying. She uncurled and shook off the dust and wood splinters. Her heart started pounding. Not two feet away lay a hole in the deck. She thanked the Lord for sparing her life and lit the fuse, trying not to get her foot stuck in the hole.

[Your form is wonderful, but would it be too much to ask that you make Dunny actually be a guy? I think Rodney and Sinbad are the only male crewmembers, so we need more of them.]

"You don't hear me objecting," murmured Melody, stepping quickly away from the captain. Something about the situation made her want to whisper, in case talking loudly might hurt the captain more than she was already.

Sonja stood up and reached for her swords, wanting to fight, but Melody's small hand slapped the back of hers. She looked down, incredulous, and saw the young girl glaring angrily up at her. "Not if you want to live, you don't. You almost died a few days ago, and I'm not letting you go out there and kill yourself." Sonja glared down at her, then said, "If you won't let me go up on deck, then you'll have to tell them. Indigo said to get the grappling hooks and face the crew hand-to-hand. She yelled it, right above here, just as the cannons went off. I doubt the crew heard her. They'll be massacred if they don't board the Kingston right now."
