Ingo looked across the deck to the far end, "This is going to take a while," she grumbled, putting a bit more effort into her cleaning. "Little Rodney has it easy playng hde and seek," she said, "I think we should put brushes on his shoes so when he runs around he cleans at the same time," she said with a sigh, but she wasn't being mean tRodney. She smiled slightly as she looked out over the edge of the boat, getting up from her knees. Her green eyes taking in the ocean, everything except the dot on the horizon. The dot that had been foloowing them for the whole journey. the do that just happened to be a navy ship.

Emerald yawned and kept scrubbing. She was on the other side of the ship and couldn't hear what the others were saying. She lifted up a barrel to scrub underneath it and yelped. she tried to stand but fell on her rear. She scrambled away from the barrel. A large rat was crawling away. Emerald sighed and continued scrubbing. "Darn rats." she muttered.

Melody paused for a second, eyes closed, then called out, "Hey, are you allowed to open your eyes, or do I have to keep them closed?" It had just occurred to her that maybe hide-and-seek was played differently in a place where one could hide just about anywhere.

Indigo checked her compass and turned the wheel just two points south, heading for warmer climes and easier pickings off merchant ships. "One of ye pirates, hoist the jolly roger!" called the captain, short indigo-dyed hair flapping out from underneath her tri-cornered hat. Her wrists and forearms were tattooed in the same color, with undulating patterns resembling animals, birds, and waves flowing up her inner left arm to her elbow and wrapping around her right like a coiling bracelet.
