"yeah, I pretty much found that out over the past few years, 'specially these last days with William and all," she said, she really despised that man now, and was in a way glad he was dead. She hated herself though too for loving him. "But when you're on the streets the navy's all you've got to turn to," said Ingo, thinking back as she momentarily stopped scrubbing.

Jack nodded understanding what she ment. For many years a lot of the worst jobs he had to do was for the navy and often the job would get him in trouble with people that souldnt have been associated with the navy. There were some things he kinda wanted to ask her but he knew he souldnt. "Well now we're not on the street anymore and we have other people looking after us." he said smiling. That fact brought a warm feeling to his stomach.

Ingo smiled and nodded, "And they're a lot nicer than some of the people I've met," she said lightheartedly, remembering some of the people she had seen in the past years.

"I cant rember anyone who has been as nice as the people here." he said smiling and looking around at the people on the ship then back at Ingo. She seemed to be one of the nicest ones.

"Yep, I think I only ever knew one really nice person back home, but she's no longer with us," said Ingo smiling though slightly sad as she brought up her good friend Rosemary. She did miss that woman, she had been the only thing that really cared for Ingo in her life, she had practically raised her, and Ingo remembered her fondly.

"Thats nice...not that shes gone but that you had some one." He always had to look after himself. There were no fond memories of anyone, just some acts of kindness from passerbys.

Ingo nodded, understanding, then realised she had come to a complete standstill with her work. "I wish that I didn't get so distracted," she muttered to herself.

Jack looked down and saw he was stoped too "Ya, well we better get back to scrubbin." he said and began to scrub the floor. He was finding it strange that she and him had a lot in common with their pasts.

Ingo smiled and laughed a bit at that. Then moved to another piece of deck, her eyees scanning the floor for uncleanliness. She sighed as she found a spot, she knew the boat was in the sea and all, but did it have to get so darn grubby?!
