Emerald nodded. "so your the famous dragon of port royale? wow, i didnt even recognize you! do you n eed anything?" she bent down and picked up the bag of pastries she had brought over. "want any pastries?" she asked.

"Right now?" replied Sonja, sinking back against the rough fabric of the cot. "Right now I want peace, quiet, and for this wound to heal. I cam get two of those, and the latter isn't happening any time soon, so how about you and Sinbad go away? Indigo was calling for you just now."

Emerald looked over her shoulder for indigo then back at sonja. "ok. i hope you get better. sorry if i bothered you." she gave her a quick smile and walked away, leaving the pastries.

Ingo looked at Emerald as she came up the stairs, "'Bout time too," she said, she had been calling for them a good long while ago. Then she smiled at Emerald and went back up on deck.

That's what Betty wanted too, peace and quiet, so that she could stretch her legs with no fear of anyone coming. But she had a feeling that she'd have o waiuntil they docked again for that.

Emerald smiled back and followed her away,looking around the boat at everybody. "so whos the captian?" she asked.

(Well it looks like I'm going on vacation too for the next week, I'm leaving tomorrow. If I get a chance I'll try to get on but those chances are slim at best. I'm sorry I havnt posted in a while but I might be able to get in a few befor I leave.)

Jack smiled as he listened to Rodney and Melody talk about playing hid and seek. Seeing kids act like this alwase brought a smile to his face. He was starting to feel real welcomed here. He turned as he herd some others talking. One face he recognized. It was Sonja, the one who decked him in the face. The other two he didn't know. He wanted to go over and talk to her but she didn't seem to well so he decided against it. He turned back to Rodney and Melody "Well don't let me get in the way of your game, I think I can get around the ship now." he smiled.

Sinbad wrapped an arm around Sonja and kept her steady. "you should be resting..." he whispered in her ear gently, almost soothingly. "you need it..." he looked over her worriedly. He didn't want her to strain herself.

"That's be me," said Indigo, descending from the stern deck to the main deck and coming forwards. She swooped off her tri-cornered hat and bowed, revealing cropped hair that was dyed blue with indigo, from whence she took her name. "Welcome aboard the Maiden, in case you didn't know where you were." The captain smiled, to signify that she was joking, and said, "You two-Ingo, and Emerald-, furl the ropes, let down the sails. We'll catch a trade wind and ride out of Port Royal! Jack! Climb the mast and let down the mainsail. Sinbad! Where are ye?" Now the young woman was in full captain mode, shouting orders to get her ship underway.

Melody watched as the rest of the crew ascended the stairs, then glanced at the medic's quarters, but the rocking of the ship had caused the door to slam shut again. She listened to Jack and replied with a cheerful, "Okay!" but then Indigo began roaring orders and she added, "I think you're needed on deck." Then she turned to Rodney. "I'll count first, 'kay?"

Sonja glanced at the door as it slammed, then looked up at Sinbad. "I'll be fine," she said, voice daring him to argue. Then she sighed, and leaned up to kiss him, placing an arm around the sailor's neck to hold him close. After a moment she pulled away, and murmured, "Now, will you please go up on deck before the captain comes down and starts bellowing?"

Emerald smiled. "aye aye capt'n!" she went to the center of the deck and pulled the rope to the hook on the floor. she tied off the first rope, letting the sail drop and smiled.'first day on a crew." she thought.

Ingo nodded, not needing to answer, she was already up on deck, quickly but efficiently letting down the sails, sometimes watchign just to make sure Emerald was doing the right thing. Ingo smiled gently at the girl then got back to her own duties.

Rodney smiled and jumped excitedly, getting ready to run off and find a hiding place. He had one in mind but it was such a good one that he didn't know if he wanted to use it, if she found him he wouldn't be able to use it again. Rodney was so deep in thought about hiding places now that his face took on a vacant expression.
