Hiro chuckled softly, the slightly forced smile on his face looking out of place amongst his forlorn expression. An ennergetic voice cut through the short silence that followed. "Carnival?" Hiro asked.

"Yeah! Me and Zoey thoght it'd be a good idea to go...do something fun! It's been kinda boring around here lately, don't you think? I mean, boring's better than inches away from a possible death, but fun's better than boring!" Alex said cheerfully.

"Heck yeah!" Alex said excitedly, causing a couple people to momentarily stare. "uh..y-yeah, I am." he said quieter, a goofy, embarrassed smile plastered on his face.

Zoey smiled and rested her head against the window, not minding the peoples' stares. "Good," she said happily, genuinely excited for once. Not to mention she really did enjoy being with Alex.

Zoey looked over at him and nodded fervently. "There's a ferris wheel, games, even a roller coaster!"

Reagan ran a hand through her hair, her head still pounding slightly.

Aaron turned to face Reagen, a smile on his face. "Feeli'n better?" he asked hopefully.

"Woa, really? A rollercoaster? Man, they're really going all out with there carnivals." Alex said.
