Alistair laughed and pushed himself faster, he looked back at her "winning!"

Eleanor looked at the boy and smiled slightly, it was a slightly creepy smile that looked out of place on her beautiful face "just don't do it again"

Anna laughed and continued to go faster, catching up with him. When she was right beside him, she said, "Ha! Now I'm going to win!"

Theodore could not describe how creeped out he felt by the strange girl in front of him. She was attractive, yes, but strange. As he nodded, he began to walk forward and allowed his atomic density to decrease so he could walk straight through her. When he was on the other side, he became solid again and continued walking.

Alistair laughed "I just realized we haven't picked a finish line!"

Eleanor shivered when he passed through her, she turned and looked at him coldly, her mind working through his, unburieing his worst memories, why? Because it's fun

Anna grinned. "I know," she said. "Nobody's going to make us stop, so why bother with a finish line when we can continue all day?" She continued skating, accidentally touching his forehead with her hand. She stopped, horror-struck, and watched as his forehead lit up with a silver light and then subsided to reveal a crescent moon mark identical to hers there. "I'm sorry Alistair, I didn't mean to give you a mark, it just happens when I touch someone," she said.

Theodore stopped dead in his tracks as he felt something probing his mind. He blocked his mind and glared at the girl, who was at the other end of the hall. "Will you kindly refrain from probing my mind? It is very impolite," he said.

He looked a little confused and touched his forehead "oh it's ok" he smiled "you said it wears off after a minute right?"

She smirked "were you ever told it's impolite to pass through people without permission?"

Anna shook her head. "The red marks people give me when they touch me wear off, but the moon mark I give them when i touch them never wears off. Lucky for you, I can only give you one," she said, "Though I doubt that really matters."

"I wouldn't know if it was; that was the first time I've ever passed through anything other than walls or furniture," Theodore said. "This stupid power of mine is what got me locked up here. I can control atoms. If I wanted to, I could make you move from there to right here in front of me without you even having to walk. I could force your atomic particles to assemble at this end of the hall."

He smiled and shrugged "well now everyone will think I'm badass and got a glow-in-the-dark tattoo"

Eleanor rolled her eyes "and I'm supposed to care because?"

Anna flinched when Alistair used curse words, having never liked them nor used them before herself. She nodded in response to his statement. "Yes, I suppose so," she said.

Theodore grinned and moved her atomic essence to where he stood. Hey, I'm getting better at this, he noted. "Because you are now over here and I now have complete control over your atomic essence," he said. "Believe me, it's scarier than it sounds. I make mistakes sometimes."
