(( Just wondering if you wanted Stephan to come along with Arowin; if not, I will edit ^^ ))
Prince Stephan woke and peered out the window, rubbing sleep from his eyes and trying to clear his dizzy mind. The morning was bright, but he was up early (( this was a few hours ago )), and he watched as Arowin tacked up Ace from his window. He waved to her as she rode off and quickly got dressed, wearing a simple, clean light green shirt, that like the typical fashion of the slightly wealthy, pooled out at the sleeves and waist. He pulled on tan riding pants and splashed cold water on his face from the wash room, feeling much better than he had last night. He gathered his things in his shoulder pouch and brought out some of his hidden stash of gold and other currency for the ride. He hurried outside, saddling up Sinner as fast as he could, and took off after Arowin. The cool wind that blew his black, now-short hair back felt good and awakened his senses. After about a half hour of hard riding, he caught up to his former leader and slowed Sinner into a trot. The black-and-white warhorse was not the least bit tired, pulling on his reins as if he wanted to go faster. "Good morning," Stephan said politely, taking a swig of water from his cantoon. A single droplet rolled down his chin, and he resisted the temptation to wipe it away. He still felt very young around the older Hood members; he was, after all, a good five years or so younger.
Christian woke with ferns draping around him, forming a blanket. He yawned and got to his feet, missing Arowin more than ever, longing for the old Hood life. But still, he valued his freedom, and stroked Panic's maw before riding her out to find some breakfast.
Sam was angry, because it was taking longer than he expected to reach his destination. He had paused for a rest in the branches of a sycamore tree when he heard voices. Not the Hood, that he was sure, and he was relieved. He would like to get revenge at them, but for now, he didn't want to be interrupted. He spread the branches apart to get a better look at the people below him. He had never seen them before, but listened in on their conversation. ((Adalia and Matthew))
Who are you to claim you're misunderstood?
